I think the cigar blend name throws a lot of folks off a little, it was created to pair well with a cigar. Doesn't taste like a cigar in my experience. Excellent pour.
Has small hints of tobacco for me but nothing strong or over powering.

Some stores around me are charging $250 for the Cigar Blend, but you also have to buy another bottle of some other liquor to get it.
I got my first bottle Joseph Magnus cigar blend it's $200 in Washington So I guess that's not too bad and wow that's all I can say is wow all by everyone I can

I think tap water is better than distilled water for adding to spirits.
The minerals give it a flavor.

Thorough review! I would like a bottle for 150! Around here 300&up! I ran into a guy who loves this bourbon the other day and he told me you can go online and look up the different blends and they tell you about the nose, pallet, and finish of each!
New subscriber today and watching more of your reviews. Bought a bottle of this for a birthday present to myself at $150.00 and the liquor store gave a 10% discount for my birthday. Couldn’t argue with this. It was my first cigar blend bourbon and I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. I’m enjoying it neat when I need to treat myself to a good bourbon.
I really enjoy the Cigar Blend from Starlight distillery from Indiana. They offer it in the Bourbon or Rye. I prefer bourbon. 10/10!!!!!
I just ran into 2 bottles on a whim in my home state of Idaho and bought both, thinking it’s a risk at the price point. I was mistaken. Mine are 10 proof points lower but are so viscous and flavorful that I’m happy to have bought them. I will try them with a drop or two of water in them but I will drink them nonetheless. Great bottle 👍🏼

Just found a bottle of this at my local Andy's for 209. I don't think it's too bad for a store on 11/23.
Finally found one at MSRP in a VA drop. Cant wait to enjoy with a Davidoff.
Finally got my hand on one for $250 and it was worth the money. Absolutely delicious. No we didn’t mix it with Pepsi lol I liked it over ice though!

Neat is the only way to drink bourbon. Scotch and water is magical though. Joseph Magnus triple cask is hit and miss. I’ve had outstanding and I’ve had not so great. Never had cigar blend. Looking for a bottle.
I’m a big fan of the cigar blend! Drinking it neat is the way to go, any other way takes away from the flavor & strength in my opinion.
As a cigar smoker, I can think of about 3 or 4 cigars I would love to smoke with that.
What do you suggest?
@@Brewzle Since you never got an answer, I would suggest an Oliva Serie V Melanio or Padron 5000 Maduro as both will offer contrast to the sweet nature of the finish that you described. Now if I could only find myself a bottle locally, I would be all set. 🤔

It is pretty good, better than I expected.
The difference in batches IMO can be hit or miss. I’ve had one that is very tobacco forward and another with only slightest hint of tobacco.
Makes sense. I really enjoyed this one but I'll keep that in mind if I find a different batch.

lol. I'm just trying to find a way to be more fun and different than every other talking head out there. I figured we'd try to mix these bourbons with something and see what happens. I'm going to tighten this format up as this was the first attempt at it, but I am very curious as to the best bourbon with Pepsi.

The bar that I work at in Columbus Ohio, we charge $81 for a 2oz pour of that same bottle.

I found a few of these bottles today for about $200 after tax. Should I go back and get them?

Ice is just frozen water. Can it really drop from a 92 to a 65 with just ice? Does the drop happen when the ice melts some or just having it in the drink?
It's something with the temperature, I guess. The flavors are just overwhelmed by a sharpness.
It's moreso the temperature, things taste different when hot/room temp/cold.
Typically, the colder something is, the less flavour you get
There 3 bottles are always a home run.
I have been searching for this for some time. I found a bottle for $330 in a local liquor store here in DE. I am hesitant to spend that much for a bottle of bourbon when I have seen on youtube several people saying it is going for $150-$200 price range. I don't mind spending that much if it truly is that good. Would love to know what cigars pair well with this.

Just "won" the option to buy a Joseph Magnus Cigar Blend for $239 at my local shop from their end of year raffle. That' price kind of sucks and I doubt I'll actually make the purchase. Crazy that I spend like $4k at this store this year and the best thing I've managed to "win" is a Joseph Magnus for 50$ over retail. Who the fk is winning all the good bottles. I can't even manage a C923 from this shop.

Good quality Bourbon or Whisky with coke or Pepsi? I can understand cheap gut rot spirits requiring something to mask their tart burn. But if someone wants to blend their high end higher price whiskies with favoured sugar water, I suppose good on them. It's their wallet they're digging into.

Bro I'll give you an example. I live in oregon, a bottle of blantons in oregon(when you can find one) is 65 bucks. I go right across the river into washington and that same bottle is avaliable, but they sell it for 399. It really differs based on location. Same with Stagg, only 50 here, but anywhere else you're looking at 300+ easy
