Bought my 1st Joseph Magnus 6 weeks ago. Went to get a second bottle 2 weeks ago and inquired with my L-Store Dude if he had ever seen the Cigar Blend. He smiled and pulled one bottle from behind the counter. Got it at MSRP and I love it. Spicy and proof-y.
Got my first bottle, batch 175. First time ever sipping. I see that burnt marshmallow you both were describing. I get tons of black pepper, spice, leather. It's a fantastic bourbon! Paid $240 and worth it, in my opinion.
Great pick and video Jaime, been wanting a JM Cigar Blend for quite some time! I loved the alternative except I can't get any of those old KC store picks anymore either. Would love to see anything obtainable that you can get today that's even remotely similar experience..

JMCB is the closest to ever seeing me smoke a cigar😂😂 It was a cool experience. Not sure we will ever find more of these bottles. I know there are sweeter batches. What batches do you have?
@@Beyondwhiskeyrow I have batch 66 which is almost done 😞. Sweet taste, vanilla and caramel And a mouth full with an awesome finish. The other batch is boxed up because I am moving 🤷🏻♂️

I have had 2 batches of JMCB, and both have been phenomenal. The most recent batch reminds me of king of Kentucky. King if you never have had is the best bourbon I’ve ever had.

I've just recently found your channel, and I have to say, your guy's approach to whiskey is great, including all your notes, which I find on point. I primarily watch the Whisky Tribe channel, but they do scotch more often. I know your niche is more in bourbon, but I'd love to hear your reviews on more scotches and irish whiskeys. Cheers to your channel expanding! Keep it up. Also, please do a review of boulevardiers with different whiskies - it's my favourite whiskey cocktail!

I was just going to say that, if he can sample it with a cigar. Than, yeah no worries. I am also guessing that they make that bourbon hot it stand up to the cigar smoke taste.

After trying countless new world cigars including high end Davidoffs and every opus X I have come to the conclusion that new world cigars suck!!! Thankfully cubanlous ships Cubans to the US. Waiting on some Cohibas, Partagus and H.Upmans

This is on my list of bourbons to get. But it’s nowhere to be found and outrageously priced online.

Did you find this similar to an Armagnac or XO cognac due to the aging in the above mentioned casks? I like cognac a lot which is why I’m considering getting this. Rabbit hole Sherry cask finished bourbon might be similar to this.
How can you review it without a cigar?!
I can’t evaluate it unless you’re both smoking an Opus (Power Ranger, magnum O, #4), RASS, Partagas SD4, or VR Famosos.
I lack words to describe the disappoint, but will survive . 😅

Passed on it at MSRP today... too many people bring up the wet cardboard note... I think its over rated and has been for years. Too many yuppies messing it up and creating mass production... bro.. do me a favor breathe... you worked hard for that dad bod! Show it off!
I hate review videos like THIS were you don't mention the BATCH AND PROOF!!! JMCB is not all the same so I have NO CLUE what you're reviewing.
