I’ve been seeing the cigar blend in retail stores between the $200 to $250 range since last year so a little more then double the cost of the Murray Hill bottles
I think that's near the new MSRP. I'm a buyer at MSRP for the cigar blend.
Just found a bottle of the Joseph Magnus Cigar Blend for $250 and snagged it. First time seeing it in the wild. Hoping it lives up to the expectation.
That "wasabi woosh!" is definitely the Light Whiskey. Obtainium has a couple of Light Whiskey offerings (and even some hazmat!) and there is nothing quite like it when you get it straight and just begs to be blended - I find it almost impossible to drink by itself. I like the Murray Hill Club for the reason that they did something interesting with it. Though it isn't the Joseph Magnus Cigar Blend, I feel the multiple finishes and interesting blend makes the Murray Hill Club another great cigar whiskey.
Murry Hill Club is very solid @ $100. Great full pallet, nice mouth feel, it's rich with some sweet oak, and a decent finish.
Glad you guys enjoyed it. Yeah it's an interesting beast and I totally agree I prefer Joseph Magnus over it. It's always a fun one to pull out for people not really know what to expect from it. Cheers
Yeah, after not listing a single tasting note, spending the entire episode saying it drinks hotter than its proof and that they can't tell if it tastes like light whiskey or bourbon, and then going on to say that the douche at the party who values money more than taste would buy it.... I'm sure they totally loved it! 👍 😂😂😂😂
Just the Jo Mag in Sherry and Cognac casks is fantastic! And this one is just north of $100. The Murray hill is closer to $130 where I’m at. Cigar blend much more.
I love Sara in a hat

“That’s already out there that’s already a thing”
LOL
Nothing with Light Whiskey?? Ever had Nassif Family Reserve? Or Old Carter American? (not their bourbon or rye, the American whiskey) If you've had either of those, then you've had blends with Light Whiskey.
Yea good one. Light whiskey is a very different profile.
I’ve only had the Joseph a Magnus bourbon. It’s a bomb.🎉
Thank you both for the video 🥃
Just won a bottle in a charity raffle, looking forward to comparing notes.
Congrats!
