    That going to be some really good choices, can't wait to see all those changes. A rigid/planted, with awesome
    brakes are a great combination.

    I really appreciate all the tips. I have a 90 Gt and I am still somewhat new to the game. Having somewhere to start is a huge help. I would really like to find a decent coupe roller so I could start doing something like you are with the blue car

    I love your back-to-basics approach especially with that LX Coupe I've been out of the game for years and it's great listening to you I have an LX 4 cylinder and a 1993 Cobra I'm the original owner with only 36,000 miles on it at some point I'd love to play with the coupe the cobras 100% original except one or two things

    Id bet subframe connectors would help out when laying into the curves on twisty mountain roads also!

    Great video!! Full length Subframe connectors , and a 6 point roll bar in my 85 SVO. I don’t really want to change my original K member or the original Lincoln control arms, brakes that come on the SVO’s. All this factory stuff is designed for the handling of the car.

    If we’re following the recipe of the white Mustang the very first mod should be more stickers on the coupe.😅

    The cars u have a really nice! Fox bodies always been around my family for awhile. So I got an 89 mustang gt. I started buying suspension stuff for it to lower the Stance. The ford lowering springs I ordered from LMR did not mount up. It’s like the spring is too long to pry the bottom portion of spring onto the lower control arm. So I stopped with that install. I’m lost for words on what to do now. Is that a common problem on the foxbody?

    • @Neomustangs
      @Neomustangs  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Use stock springs. Cut coils.

    I wish there was a way to demonstrate how much flex is actually in the chassis in stock form. If you put a built motor with enough power in one and don’t run sub frame connectors or cage and it dead hooks all the sudden you won’t be able to get one or both of your doors open and some panel gaps might be a little off😮

    • @Neomustangs
      @Neomustangs  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I have plenty of track videos that show that lol

    • @hotrodray6802
      @hotrodray6802 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's easy.
      Jack up one corner under the suspension or the rocker panel. It's amazing how much flex there is.

  • @jpp9846
    @jpp9846 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Do you keep your drums, when upgrading those front brakes?
    I'm probably going to wait on power adders until the brakes have been gone through. Think I'll replace all bushings too. Suspect those axle bushings are the "clanging" noise when turning sharply at a low speed

    • @Neomustangs
      @Neomustangs  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I did on my black car. I havent made the transition to these brakes yet. Its why they sit in a box still but i wont change my rears no. Not needed for my setup.

  • @arturo5819

    Just picked up a tr3550 cheap guy was selling it as a t5. What clutch would you run on it? I might buy whole car for 5 lug swap

  • @jcnpresser
    @jcnpresser ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I’ll tell you thing, stay away from the cheap rear control arm kit from American muscle, they’re made pretty well, but got rubber bushings that flex a ton, my rear ended is twisting up just as much as it did with blown out bushings on the original ones. It was pretty good for about a month and now the car has rear steer on hard launches and hard braking. Gonna have to either get poly bushings or bite the bullet for some quality arms.

    • @Neomustangs
      @Neomustangs  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Ya for sure. I always stay with quality. Team Z. Etc

    • @jcnpresser
      @jcnpresser ปีที่แล้ว

      @@hotrodray6802 yeah I don’t even have the factory one on, it was broken when I got the car, so I just took it off, was thinking the stock one don’t do that much. I know the cheap bushings I got are flexing as much as the blown out factory ones.
