You've laid the ground work for what could be an excellent full-length film.
Leo and Connor's dynamic is such a delight to see. Some real 'himbo' energy. All muscle, all heart, bit of a braincell. Steve's sober, shady demeanor balances out the trio. Him almost eliminating Sky was scary and upsetting but it really dragged the story to reality. I mean, Leo's scary encounter already did but it drove the point home really well. It's a shady business and only someone shadier and ruthless as Steve can survive it. Well written, well acted, well casted, well done.
This movie short is very well done. Kudos to Kyle Lovett for this fine work.

You have a real future, fortunately opened up by the ease of editing without processing miles of 35mm film. You also have an art with music, reminding me of the interaction between Martin Scorsese and Bernard Hermann.
Hopefully it will not be too long before you hit the big screen and get a few nominations for your first Oscar or BAFTA award. Finding a distributor who does not want to milk you dry will be the biggest hurdle. However, not having to fund 35mm cinema prints at more than £1,000 each is making things easier. Re recording soundtracks to commercial formats is also becoming easier by the day.

At first I thought this was pulled from a professionally made production. After reading a little about it I learned not. I am highly impressed. The script was well written. For the plot the actors looked age appropriate. When the video was over I thought to myself "This can't be all. I want more of this story!". Please do not mind me stating such. The actors chosen to be in the video are great looking men, especially the man with the primary roll.

Sorry the script was suboptimal. Why even include the escort dialog about lying to the wife and working at night late and leaving dirty construction clothes in the trunk when the shooter and the female are simply left at the water by the driver in the car. The motivations for a straight man who wants to control a woman and keep her captive do not match the profile of someone that will pay for a male hooker. The acting was good. The music effects were good. Lighting was good. The letdown was the writing. Piss poor. I just watched it and thought, that this is 15 minutes I will never get back. Writing however can be improved. Stay inspired and hone your craft further. I appreciate you sharing this for the world to see. There were many good things documented, but they were overshadowed by the plot writing.

Like its a moment of relief between two people who had a intense experience and its a nonconstructed relationship, unlike the rest of the film so it has a destressed naturalness to it a bit while they are just processing.
This really could be a full film easy, as far as expanding the base structure and a few very natural ways to do it.
You could add stuff in the front to learn abt the characters separately before you throw them together in a new light, lengthen the middle, the end is pretty good and doesn't need tweaking in the usual sense but you just have to make sure you can make it feel like a natural end length for the rest of the film so it feels balanced.
I would absolutely pay money to see the movie or mini-series version of this.

So, for some weird reason, TH-cam algorithm is bringing here people who tend to search for "gay storylines".
As usual, TH-cam algorithm is wrong. I watched this in full, not caring about it, but I didn't like it in the slightest. The driver is the only good actor, all the other ones either react too slow or have the acting skills of a cardboard. Good camera work though, every scene is crystal clear.

A nice little movie that ends with the guy getting the girl and walking with her on the beach. So glad this isn’t a homosexual movie, otherwise it would get a thumbs down.

Girl, who was already there when protagonist arrived, was the only one to check for a pulse and pronounce the guy dead. I assumed that was her prearranged role with the client. Otherwise, this was a waste of time that made no sense ...unless the rest of this "storyline" is released in the future.

The Australian slang is just a bit difficult for an American to understand that isn't familiar with it. But I'm kind of glad they did it that way. I don't want to watch something that's been dumbed down for the witless. The only way it's really believable is if the actors speak to each other as they would in real life. If that's peppered with profanity and foreign slang, so be it. Overall, a very entertaining short film. Well done and interesting. They probably could have pushed the envelope with partial nudity or a slightly more 'dramatic' struggle with the John. But then-again this is youtube. I understand there's quite a ceiling on this platform. Overall, I rate it a 4 out of 5 stars. (which is high praise coming from me)

@@paulm5441 Mutilated is not a word I used. Every English speaking nation on earth has their own brand. As an American, I am spoiled because my northern neighbors, the Canadians don't really differ all that much from US. This is not the case with eastern versions of the language. They can differ quite a bit to my perspective. This is especially true for UK dialects.
