The audio is excellent on a tv with a decent sound system. I can relate to Beck, he gave up his hearing and Jasper. When he should have given up his inhibitions. The masks gave great insight, Georgie was the Fox(predator), Jasper was the Owl(wise pedator), Beck was the Rabbit(prey) left out in the cold scared and jealous. With no confidence in himself and gave up, losing everything. Very interesting and well done anthology, looking forward to more stories.
I agree with you about the animal roles as you delineated them. It seemed to me that at the beginning Jasper and Georgie, the predators, each wanted Beck, the prey. But as the movie progresses, it is clear that Jasper and Georgie also want each other, so they are really pursuing a relationship as a group of three, to which the movie starts out stating we are preconditioned to respond favorably. When Georgie looks back when crossing the quad near the beginning of the movie, I think he was looking at both Jasper and Beck. He wanted both of them "all the time" as in the whole time from when he first saw them. He wanted a group of three relationship with them from the beginning. Jasper told Georgie maybe I'm afraid to tell you the truth, can I sacrifice that? Georgie responds only if you promise never to lie. Jasper says Promise. I think the truth Jasper was afraid to tell Georgie is that he wanted to be with both Georgie and Beck. But unlike Beck, Jasper overcomes his fear and tells the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Beck seemed to want to be with both Jasper and Georgie, but was too inhibited and lacking in confidence to pursue either of them, much less the even more unconventional group of three relationship. In the animal mask game, Beck starts to lose his hearing because he cannot handle the truth and does not want to hear it. He should have sacrificed his inhibitions and told them the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. Instead, he runs from them like the scared rabbit from its predators, and responds to them saying to him Please, just be honest, what will you give up - with I give you up. You hear me? I give you up! The story was super interesting, I loved the academia setting and got major The Secret History vibes from the masks part. What stood out most was the dynamics between the three and the actors did a great job portraying that. And some of the shots were done so well 👏👏

This short film was amazing! However, I couldn't fully comprehend what was happening among the three boys. At first, I thought Georgie was deceiving them and planning to murder them for some dark, sacrificial purpose, perhaps involving witchcraft. But it turned out that nothing like that occurred. I’d appreciate it if someone could explain what actually happened and what these interactions were meant to represent from their perspective..
The audio is a bit hard to hear, which might be intentional due to the hearing issues Beck has. I'm very intrigued as there is this sexy tone to it and I want more, I want to see the next episode!
