I find using the L guard after a jab or 'paw' helps to discourage and even offset a cross..especially hiding the chin area beneath the left shoulder(conventional)
I bring up floyd because hes very effective with his lead right hand and hes deadly accurate with it

leave the right hand after 1 or 2 good jab, i always do this immediately on purpose, strike with right hand and heavy punch to not give a chance and its full length make the half length uppercut and hooks less danger even if drop hand method used could still be okey, aim with right hand to his nose chin, aim with uppercut, aim with hook, i mean not just hit in the face, aim it to eyes little bit up and down to hit somewhere, and follow immediately with other punch, always immediately, thank you coach anthony.

When your moving to the side and throwing that double or triple jab at the same time you’re not using it for a good offense to hurt your opponent, it’s more of a defensive thing because when your moving to your side there’s barely any power behind the punches however they will still stop the other guy
