For someone who doesn’t have a “big box delay” of course timeline comes to mind, WA-D1 is also a Hi-Fi box in a small form factor. How does this compare to those?
Hey there! I'd say the biggest benefit over the timeline is that the Eternity is a much smaller package. Of course, the Timeline sounds incredible and can do just about anything but I find I don't typically leverage the entire pedal when I have that many options. I think the D1 is a much closer comparison in terms of sizing and features, but I haven't personally played one so it's hard for me to say definitively which one I like more. However, I'm hoping to buy one and do an A/B video!
Zach, just found your channel. Honest question: I play worship guitar and I really like the jet reverb and delay. For about the same price of those two, I can get a Line 6 with pretty much the same options, right? I like the simplicity of pedals, but I'm having a hard time getting over the cost. I am not a good enough player for minor tone differences to matter, so what is really the best option?
Hey man! If you already have an amp/board combo I'd go this route - however, if you're willing to go digital I strongly recommend the line 6 route. Find yourself an LT for $700ish used and you have a really fantastic unit that does everything from amp sims, modeling, built in wah pedal/expression pedal, and world class effects.
Thanks for the review and demo. I've been very interested in this pedal. Can the dual delay be a preset, and once you call the preset, can you adjust the tempo with the tap tempo?
So, I bought the v2 revelation along with the eternity. I love the revelation but I ended up receiving 2 defective eternity’s. Of course, Junior graciously accepted them both back, but seeing this video makes me sad they didn’t work out. I definitely want to try this again but gotta save up. I may get the new revelation too.
Does Jet pedal have spillover or trail bypass mode when you change the preset it will carry over the previous preset delay/reverb trail to be naturally decayed over time?
Trying to like this pedal. It seems so overly complex to use. Took you close to 7 minutes just to explain the functionality. You did a great job but I feel like I'd need a second guitar tech to manage it. And really, it doesn't sound any different than a dozen other delay pedals that are so easy to use. You did a great job explaining it and I hope this doesn't come across as blasphemy but somethings are perfect in its most simplest from. Delay is one of them. The best thing about it for me is the Jr - great guy and the fact it's a beautiful looking pedal.
It's definitely a different take on delay. I think the Eternity packs a ton into it at the sake of complexity and for some people that's OK! But I totally get what you're saying - sometimes you want a pedal you can just plug in and play

oh weird man! The delays for the ESD and JET Signature are more subtle but should still come through!

Yes it does! As long as you are staying within the same algorithm you have spill over for both the eternity and revelation!
