Done 11,500 in almost 2 years in mine ! Got it as a completely stock 2017 (it was 2 and a half years old upon purchase, paid exactly £20,000 as I work in the motor trade so got it for a decent price), on 14,200 miles, and it's on 25,169 now, and running 455bhp/634nm. Had a remap at first to 411bhp/573nm, but recently had a Wagner 200 cell cat, ITG air filter, further remap and XHP3 gearbox software. Future plans are Bilstein B16 suspension, and a diff. Agree with you on tyres, mine was on the original Bridgestone runflats, fucking shyte. Now got Pilot Sport 4 all round. I cannot think of a more fun car for the money. So you went to a car meet in Skeggy, that's not too far from me, where do you usually meet up I'd pop along in mine. Went out this morning for a blast near Gainsborough, was pushing along a modded black Lotus Elise with a big wing on the back, spitting flames from it's exhaust, lol awesome thing but I could have overtaken it, had plenty in reserve, but it was good fun just stuck to it's rear bumper I'm sure he thought he would gap me lol, if you're reading this Mr Elise driver, great fun this morning thanks. Around a track, an M2 would corner faster mate, it's not only got a wider track, it's got wider wheels too. But look for 'the hulk M140i' a track prepared M140i on TH-cam it's bloody quick around corners. Sweets hmmm revels matey !!!
At some point could do more back story of yourself, when first got into cars. Family friends history of cars. How long it took to get money for this one. How driving lessons and test went initially.
Loving the videos mate :) I’d love to see you drive around some nicer roads if you get the time. I’m guessing you live quite close to the Peak District so that could be nice or anywhere you want
Fun as the m140i is it does have its limitations, yes you can throw money at it and up its mechanicals but it does have a limit. I've had mine for two and a half years now and agreed it is fun but on wet cold days, whats the point of all that power. Time to move on to something more practical something more up to date
I think it's very practical, I moved my daughter from house to house, folded the seats down and got everything in. If you don't have Pilot sport 4 tyres on it, then you are always going to have compromising grip. And anyway, wet cold days are more fun (and mine is 455bhp/634nm), the grip is fine if you know how to feather the throttle and correct the back end, same as any other powerful RWD car. Sell yours mate and go buy a nice 'safe' AWD Skoda LOl :-))
@@Mk1Male He thinks it's unpractical because he's now bought something else and feels he needs to somehow justify the fact his wife made him buy a shitty Skoda MPV ;-))
@@POVGOD I have the standard Nav in my 120i (no competition here) and find it can direct me in very inconvenient routes (single track country roads through woods, etc.) even though I prefer motorway driving. Is that normal?

thoughts on this vs a cheaper m135i?

Yeah absolutely! I have a decent story on how I failed my driving test a few years back! I’ll make sure I film that soon!

I head up the Peak District quite often I just never film when I go! For sure could take it up on those tight roads some time for a video!
Really nice videos man, I subscribed
mercedes build quality is not as good as bmw or even audi, i had a e63 and a m5, the m5 interior quality is just levels above
Subscribed on first video (for not dissing the M135 mainly lol) - Good content thanks.
Love this, good work load
I seriously love your car can't wait to pick mine up 😭
Thank you! They’re great cars! Hope you enjoy yours!

I bought an M140i over the M2 because it is so much more practical. I'm no idea why you think it's unpractical.

@@DjNikGnashers I think he needs a diesel estate maybe a 335d?

100-200?
Not sure mate, usually do 0-60’s probably manage a 4.1. No clue about 100-200
@@POVGOD apparently stock they can do it in low 8s
That’s good!
@@POVGOD I think they were around. 10 seconds stock? My stage 2.5 is late 6 100 to 200
My 240i was valued more than what I bought it for but apparently that's because of covid , but noticed I would have to spend more to buy another lol
I don’t like sweets 😅 nice video 👍
No sat nav ????
I turn the screen off in videos because it flickers a lot, it does have satnav
