Check out our Lowrance ActiveTarget vs Garmin LVS34 LiveScope Plus comparison! Tell us down below what you think about the two! Is one absolutely better than the other?
I'm a Lowrance man. Ghost + HDS Live 12 bow/helm + Live foot FFS on bow with Active Target 1. All NEMA networked. The full system Lowarance features are sweet. On the fly auto pilot routes on ghost powerful feature, heading lock for a long straight run, and the anchor lock with +/-5 ft adjust remote is spot on. CMAP (built in) is killer. Wish the chart (map) had an offset feature for water level like Huminbird, but can live with it. For FFS, the LVS34 is best, but marginal difference overall. Just gotta cast a bit more accurately with Lowrance with the narrower beam. Overall I love Lowrance software and the features. I added a DD26 Active Target motorized shaft. Game changer.
I’m a die hard Garmin guy, I’ve owned both, Garmin hands down! The Lowrance 18 degree cone should be pumping better images for power vs. cone dimensions and Garmin absolutely smoked it!!!
Garmin has always had a better target separation both lvs34 and lvs32 compared to Lowrance. People love Lowrance bc it's more of a plug and play and not so much to mess with. However, for me I'll take garmin as I have no problem messing with settings to always get the job done and the new lvs34 still can be dialed in even more.
I was considering active target since my graphs are compatible with it. After watching this, not even close, Garmin looks way better to me. Thanks for the side by side comparison video.
Some lure retrieves would be awesome if yall do another comparison. These videos are awesome but still leaves me scratching my head on whih way to go lol. Great video
There might only be slight differences but if your like me and you did that color limit update and killed your livescope system, you just need something that works. I can barely see a jig from any depth, postion or setting. A whole new bundle is looking good now.
So when is Garmin going to come out with their 360 if they had that I think they would b on top. I think Lowrance ghost 360 is kinda a bust because U have to have that trolling motor to use it & if you're in a heavy wind or current that u can't control yourself & run ghost 360 simultaneously. Really good comparison I definitely like these vids! I'm currently saving for a 10" graph. I have no brand loyalty & I'm also a kayak guy. Been fishing pa12 for 7yrs now. Upgraded to PA12 -360 last summer. Never had a graph yet so really thinking hard about what to get!?? At moment my top pics Solix gn3 with mega 360 & echomap ultra 106sv with LVS34. Any recommendations? Who's high end mapping is better?? Lake master s, or LakeVu G3 Ultra/Navionics Vision+?? Appreciate it guys thank
I have mega live, or had it. I changed to Garmin. My opinion is that there is no enough power on mega live. 15 m is pretty much max forward range and that was not enough for me. Waiting to get my Lvs34
Not interested n a particular brand - just results. I also readily admit that I am not a guy that understands the ends and out of the technology. That said - I can look at images and tell which is clearer. For this video - Garmin wins. Not sure why that is so hard to say. Maybe in the future - Lowrance wins. For this comparison - Garmin with KO. It really is that simple!
Are you looking at the same pictures?? Not even close in clarity. I don't have a dog in the fight. But it's not close. Understanding you service both and don't want to offend the customers you sell to or possibly sponsors for your channel
Se ve que la distancia del transductor no es la misma en las dos proyecciones, con lo cual, a mayor distancia el cono se abre mas y te coge mas las estructuras. Son imagenes algo engañosas
Look, you are nice guys. But stop the BS about Lowrance being close. I know you sell both brands so you cannot trash Lowrance, but we can see the videos. It’s not remotely close at all. It is a Swiss army setup…Garmin is the clear must have.
And Humminbird is sitting on their hands, they can’t even get head units out let alone mega live, so glad I have birds 😂. Honestly is Humminbird going out of business? Can’t get products out but have raised their prices.
Their 360 is different but excellent product to have along with these two setups. I am sure they are working hard on improving their mega live, until then they are making good money on the 360.
These manufacturers are sucking money out of consumers. You might as well do another video on the new one out also. These things are like cell phones. Only people who have enough sense not to buy these things are women. A wife told my friend once after spending 5-10 thousands of dollars. You shouldn't lose again. She's right. He lost

Another fair comparison lads - great work.

Same here.... Thought I was going to get a live sonar for $1600... now its going to be 3.5K for a Garmin setup, but worth it.

Good stuff guys! 👀 🎣 👊🏼💯🇺🇸
Thanks for the rundown!

Tell me the garmin is better without telling me the garmin is better
Go Garmin. Better units. 106sv at Cabelas you'll thank me later.
which units are you using? Both Lowrance and Garmin?
In this video we're you guys using the transom mount transducer?
I'm hearing that Lowrance is going to do a software update soon, you hearing anything?
How much more longer is the LVS34 vs LVS32?
Great Video Fellas!

i've ice fished with all 3, and Garmin 34 is still way ahead. Lowrance has lag. Hummingbird is way behind.
Great job
Probably not seeing the lines all the way down on the lvs34 because of the 8 degree angle
Lowrance need a wider angle obviously. The difference feels a lot more than only 2 degrees.. more like 10.
U guys have to fish for bass down there? Or do you have walleyes?
we have bass, crappie, walleye, blue catfish, and wipers mainly
Good video guys. Garmin all day long.
Dudes are you serious, LVS34 beats the Activetarget all day long. 🤷♂️
Great video guys!! Now get me a lvs34 Justin!! Please!!!!
Can you guys do a comparison between the mega live an Garmin livescope? Or is mega live just junk and not in the ball park of the other 2 brands???

Why no mega live in the discussion?
its coming
It's junk. That's why.
Where's the Hummingbird

Bro it's not even close. Garmin all the way
I dont even think its close....Garmin smoked 'em
