You guys sell these products so you can’t bash one over the other. The 34 is far superior. It’s not close at all. But let me ask you. Have you ever seen a guy with all Garmin units use AT or even Mega Live? Of course not. But you do see Bird and Low guys have a dedicated 3k Garmin head unit and $1,700 LS transducer. No way this would happen if they were “the same”. It’s not close at all.

Maybe I'm biased because I have the LVS34, but I think Garmin is still well ahead of the competitors with the clarity, noise reduction, and definition in these images. I just couldn't recommend going with any other live imaging... LiveScope is still the best.

Thanks for the comparison as nobody else is doing this. Only thing is comparing different images. Put them both on the trolling motor for just this outing, one on either side so they see the same thing. Obviously both will do great with not showing noise alone, that's been shown, and doing it this way will show interference but who cares. An apples to apples view would be awesome.

So many more things to compare. Honestly I wish y’all would set the range to 120 and see which one tracks an Alabama rig better. Or even a big swimbait. I orderer the at/2 already but my biggest want is one that tracks baits the best and from the furthest range

It’s not a true comparison so is hard to say . They should use the same pole for the same angle in the same time to get the same information. Also comparing both using factory settings is another joke ….

They are definitely close with factory settings. With that being said I know that's what Lowrance guys have said they like its right out of the box with no adjustments and the adjustments don't really help it. Garmin needs adjustments out of the box but once set rarely needs adjusting especially with lvs34. And you can reduce that noise tremendously on Garmin and not suffer losing detail.

I run 3-Garmin Echomap Ultra Graphs w/ Livescope on my boat. And after owning Lowrance HDS and Humminbird Helix graphs, I can truly say that for me Garmin Echomap Ultra Graphs are better. Also, I like to tinker and fine-tune the graphs because every body of water is different and to get the best image quality you need to do that. Garmin allows me to do that.

To me the Garmin is WAY better here. I don't own any live sonar, I've got Humminbird graphs on my boat and am trying to decide which brand to go with. I was really hoping the Humminbird mega live would be better than it is. Looking like it's gonna be Garmin for me.

I want Lowrance to catch up really bad, as I've been Lowrance my entire life, but Garmin certainly looks better. Every time I see Garmin, I want to switch. I'm on my 3rd Live Target transducer (they just quit working as well). I've learned they're really fragile, I guess. I've wasted a huge amount of time trying to make the AT work for me, and I just can't. Really bummed on this AT2 demo.

Hummingbird definitely has 360 over everyone. I don't think Lowrance 360 is that comparable because u lose trolling motor control to use it! Even if it's for a moment, it has to constantly update for accurate positioning so I think design is bad & not well thought out. Like they just rushed something to try & have something close. I'm curious if Garmin will ever do a 360, I'm not sure?? Hopefully they do. I'm not running 2 separate brands on my kayak. I'm staying with a single 10 graph!
