Ah, Tanzania, this vlog brings back memories of my time out there..
I’ll be back in Tanzania in October myself if all goes well..
I prefer the cooler and more laidback lifestyle in Arusha..
be sure to go visit some of the many beaches and Rusta land cafe right at the beach front.. just go to the port and get a Baot, it’s like a 15-20min boat ride and it’s very cheap.. also wile your in the city visit one of Tanzanias massive shopping malls, it has cinemas fan fair rides bars and clubs etc.

rusta land beach, CoCo land in dar Ess

For example, if you are told that a shoe costs 15,000 Tanzanian shillings, when you convert it, it is about 700 Kenyan shillings, and in Kenya, the same shoe is sold for 700 shillings. This shows that there is no difference in the value of the currency. Another example is that in Tanzania, an ordinary worker, that is, a laborer, is paid 15,000 Tanzanian shillings per day. When I was in Kenya years ago, as an ordinary laborer, I was paid 500 Kenyan shillings. This means that the value and payments are the same whether you go to Kenya or come to Tanzania. So, the KES may not always be of benefit in such circumstances. I've heard someone say on their YT channel that some (many) think because you have KES, you're able to afford more.
