  • Tanzania is amazing ! It is a patriarchal society but they have a female president, they are majority christian but their president is muslim, they have 128 tribes and over 100 languages and yet they are united. They prove that Africa and African countries are a lot more nuanced and complex than the world likes to believe. Join us as we talk about dating in Dar es salaam, talk to the coolest tribe in subsaharan Africa, The Masaai and as we explore dating on the island of Zanzibar

YES - I'm Kenyan and I've always been jealous of Tanzanians. Unique country. Unlike most other African countries - including Kenya - where tribes and people are divided, always arguing and fighting over politics and stuff, Tanzania politicians united their people from the start: 1961. It's probably the most consistently peaceful and stable nation in Africa since independence.
Also note that, even though Kiswahili is an East African language, Tanzanians have marketed it widely like their own (selfishly so) until it got recognized as an official language by AU in 2022. Tanzanians contribution to growth of Kiswahili has been - and still is - phenomenal 👏🏾 👏🏾 👏🏾 👏🏾
If any African country has to learn anything about unity and progress, Tanzanian is a great model.

"Selfish" Hey, brother clean your heart. Tanzania is where the Swahili language originated. They marketed all over other parts of the continent for the help of liberation. Best to show you Kenyans and other parts can not speak fluent Swahili like Tanzanians. It's like the Americans, and Australians arguing about the English language belonging in their countries and the UK marketed it hhhahh😂😂😂(on drugs).

Very captivating and informative. So many tribes living as one peacefully is just beautiful. Swahili as an official language makes Tanzania a very unique country. Welldone girl for coming up with such an interesting episode.

I really enjoyed that episode very much, you learn so many interesting details about the country that we Europeans only know as a safari destination....
people speak more openly about partnership and dating than in any previous episode.
It is entertaining, cheerful and informative at the same time.
Thank you for these great insights into the life of the people in Tanzania, Wadzie!

I advise any country to study the negatives and positives of a system before adopting it and pushing it onto people. Most times only the benefits are highlighted when trying to persuade someone of something but remember; everything has its pros and cons. I suggest you start with the cons and not the other way around like scammers do.

Poor kids with the media. We need to talk to our youths on the limits of their expressions on the media. That, some things are best expressed after acquiring some experiences. The stereotypes they express are so negative that if not properly addressed or explained to them will definately affect them for the rest of their lives... I guess our socialization agents are not functioning they way they did in the past. I call for our attention on our yours cultural orientation...

On the contrary we found the youth in Tanzania to be a great example of what the youth in the world want . They represent a free society, where they’re open to discuss good and bad things openly and simultaneously advocate for change. This episode showed Tanzania as a country with amazing people and a country in transition, a country that has progressed and is still progressing. Viva Tanzania and viva to the youth of Tanzania for not adhering to censorship. 🇹🇿

Well I noticed the host is really holding very strongly on her feminist views and trying to push it on Tanzanian men, well well take a look closely , the western highly educated women are getting more and more single and unmarried, not letting the men lead relationship wise, while they themselves are becoming and acting more and more like men, then come crying on social media and tick tok about their boredom and increase loneliness. Do your research. I will be coming to Tanzania soon to cherry hand pick my Tanzanian wife.
