It's quite compact 13.3" screen tablet for its high resolution and it has a great display quality! OwO
I'm unboxing a tablet and talking about my experience of drawing on it for more then a month.
I've tried to use it in my usual workflow to test it properly!
Also I'm drawing Jinx from Arcane in Cyberpunk 2077 style while talking about my experience with this tablet! ^w^

Great video. I have the exact same tablet. I am left handed so one thing you can do is flip the tablet over and then set it to 180 degrees in settings if you are like me. Your artwork is awesome, I hope I can become as good!
If the drawing size enough or perfect with ui hidden or do u feel you need more drawing space.
@@NNG_yt UI by default is small so need to set UI scale to 125%. I just remove bits I don't need or move it to another monitor and use mouse to select

Also a tip fir any1, press f 2 times in ps, and on the left and right edges u can hover for getting those tools
@@edgeofsanitysevensix like did u feel u wanted just a bit more screen when utilising full area as drawing space, like not wanting more space for ui, but for drawing.

@@NNG_yt I don't have a lot of desk space. 15" too big. 13.5 is perfect for me. I had a Wacom Cintiq but I sent it back. This perfect for me.
Came for the review and now I'm in love with that draw D: amazing haha love both Jinx and Cyberpunk style, so not much else to say about it xD

My wacom intuos tablet started malfunctioning. The coincidence is that I've been looking for a tablet with a screen and a friend has the pro 13. I'm sure it won't be as high quality as this one but this helped me get more confident about having a screen tablet

Hey, love the in depth review. I did see the shortcut buttons you used. And I wondered how you easily change your brush size?
I wanted to try to do it by alt right click and dragging the pen, bthe huion tablet won't let me 'hold' the right click button, when I set it to the upper button on the pen.

Hi, this video so helpful. I bought a kamvas pro 2,5k too. I noticed a bluish edge on the top screen. It looks like a bluish gradient .Do you have such a view on your screen?
I'm definitely gonna be on the lookout for that comparison with the normal Kamvas 13, I can't decide yet on which to buy

I couldn't wait and I bought a normal kamvas 13, its best for the price only for 220 dollars here while the 13 2.5k was at 400 and I can definitely see the pixels but its so small that for me its ok

After watching this video a couple times I finally ordered it. When it arrived it looked kinda cheap and I didn't thinking much of it. The contrast is much higher than my laptop's and Windows settings wont let me turn on HDR on the tablet yet my laptop supports HDR. Here is the deal-breaker: This tablet has the most disgusting grain I have ever seen on a screen. Cool, it has 2560x1600 display but also a 2560x1600 grain that covers the whole screen because of that damn matte screen finish. I don't want a nonreflective screen that feels like paper, I just want a high quality display that shows accurate colours. Unfortunately, most brands seem to offer matte finishes because the artist market seems to prefer that. 2022 and tablets still look this awful. I'm genuinely pissed I bought this for so much money.
Also, the aluminium stand has really sharp edges and will probably scratch your tablet within a month
Dude, I'm glad I stumbled upon your comment. Like you, I was surprised when I received the package with this tablet, because I also bought this device on the advice. None of the reviews said that there is this noise on the screen and this is very bad. My eyes also get very tired from working on this tablet and I can’t work for more than 2 hours. However, it turned out only after the purchase, and I began to find reviews from other people that this noise interferes with them. And it’s not entirely clear to me whether this is a mass marriage and some part of the goods has such a strange effect? Or some people just don't notice the noise. Very disappointed with the purchase as I saved up for it for a very long time.

Hi, I was wondering if you managed to compare the screen luminance or quality with wacom cintiq? I was using cintiq for a while but I actually do not like the screen display quality...

You need to go to "Edit" => "Puppet Warp" in Photoshop. This tool allows you to put several dots on a shape and then manipulate these dots to warp the shape ^w^

@@mojtabayaghoobi12 hey, I've got both, Kanvas pro 16 4K, and Kanvas pro 13 2,5K (that I use when traveling) and to me there is no doubt, Kanvas 16 4K feels way better when drawing, it's just perfect, best tablett I've used so far. (i'am professional artist)

I'm really nervous adjusting the stand while holding the tablet, since the stand could scratch the screen. The stand is not smooth chrome but milled metal which could scratch anything. Maybe in their next iteration, they could make the stand plastic or chrome. Also, I didn't need to plug in the power cable into the power adapter, as the usb data cable powers from my MBP.
Would you prefer the artist 2nd gen line over huion kamvas? I'm thinking of getting me a graphic display and I can't decide between huion kamvas 13 and xp-pen's artist 13 2nd gen. I'd love to get your opinion on them
there's line wobble on xp-pen 2nd gen series. go with huion imo.
Hello, I have been interested in buying this Huion model for a long time, but I saw other users who had problems with dead pixels on the screen after 2 days of use. Can you tell me if the same thing happens to you? Do you recommend this tablet 100%?
Though its a good tablet for $399, I could still recommend other alternatives like Huion Kamvas 12 or XP-Pen Artist 12 (2nd gen) for around a $100 cheaper if your looking for starting on digital art with a pen display.

the 2.5k is about 130euros more than the regular kamvas 13 (where I live). Can anyone tell me if it's worth getting the 2.5k model? I want to use it as a drawing tablet on the go
Why does it need a power socket? I won't be able to use this thing outside of my room. For this reason, I need to buy a portable option, like iPad.

Hey, I want to start drawing digitally so something I was thinking about is- won’t it be easier to draw on iPad pro? Since it’s touch..?
How much can this one zoom in?
I worked on a Surface Pro 7 with a touchscreen which is not an iPad but very similar. Yes, touchscreen tablets are superior if they have apps that are designed to work with touch. The whole deal around iPad apps is to be used with touch controls, so most apps will be very intuitive. However neither a Surface Pro or an iPad will come even close to the computational power of a desktop PC, so apps like blender, zbrush and other desktop 3D apps will run poorly. iPad has optimised 3D apps like Nomad sculpt which work amazing even with millions of polygons and touch controls! But then again, you cannot connect your iPad to a PC if you ever need to use a certain Windows app like zbrush or blender. It's an annoying tradeoff. Either use an iPad Pro if you're planning to just draw in Procreate or Nomad Sculpt and travel, or despair with me as I try to find a good quality display tablet that is good for desktop apps. This Huion Kamvas has awful grain and is not worth the money.
This one cannot zoom in at all. It has no touch features. It's just a display that recognises your pen, that's it. You'll have to hold a hotkey to zoom, pan, rotate etc, so you'll have to multitask and learn the controls. Not as intuitive as an iPad. Again, if you don't care about Windows apps, definitely go for an iPad Pro. A Surface Pro is awful and will overheat when using Adobe Fresco or just idling around

I thought about getting one because I want to try drawing digitally, but my goal is to study graphic design so I thought about iPad, but you made me realize it may not be a good option for that..
So I think maybe a graphic board will be a better option? it’s still harder to work with🤔

Can you draw without connecting it to a laptop, can you just take it with you and still draw?
You would still need a computer connected to it, the thing is basically a extra monitor that you can draw on, but it has to be connected to a computer in the first place. They make tablets that you *can* take like that, but then you're looking at getting something like an Ipad

Ребят, может кто знает, купила графический планшет huion kamvas 13, 2,5 k. На экране пиксельные цветные точки, как на старых телеках. Не знаю что делать, писала уже везде, то ли брак, то ли подделка, то ли я что то не так делаю?
Привет, тоже недавно купил этот планшет по совету многих, особенно после этого видео. Та же самая хрень с цветным шумом. Huion говорят что это не брак а норма из-за антибликового стекла, однако у меня так сильно напрягаются глаза что не могу проработать больше 2х часов за ним. Очень жаль было узнать о такой неприятности только после покупки. Я решил не мучать себя и вернуть товар назад в магазин. Разрешение 2.5к конечно круто но с таким шумом на экране работать невозможно. Причем не понимаю как многие люди не замечают этой проблемы...

@@orus_inantis я прослушала пару видео про iPad и говорят, что если наклеить на iPad матовую плёнку, то возникает такой же эффект мелкоготцветного зерна. Это просто максимальный трэш делать такой экран на huion. Я не стала заморачиваться с возвратом, алиэкспресс вернул мне 150 долларов. Я тоже не понимаю как всё пишут в коментах, что планшет супер 😐😐😐

Но мне предложили компенсацию не в 150$ а всего в 30$ 😁👍 Правда спор о возврате ещё идёт, и не известно какое решение они примут окончательно.
И да, ещё дополнительно забыл сказать что сразу из коробки это чудо было с битыми пикселями))
@@orus_inantis я не успела за 15 дней подать на спор. Пишите одновременно на сайт официальный в сапорт, мне предлагали сначало 40,потом 100 потом 150 или возврат. Но думаю если бы я отправила планшет ещё и за свой счёт, то мне бы не вернули всю сумму. Битые пиксели это вообще кошмар, , у меня просто был помят угол коробки, с какой только силой надо долбануть, чтоб коробка так помялась. Вобщем либо продам его на авито либо он так и будет лежать в шкафу, больше на алиэкспрессе ничего не беру. Куплю iPad))) а вы пишите как всё разрешится, пусть свой хлам из продажи убирают. Ещё и отзыв на алиэкспрессе удалили мой с одной звездой
I found the drivers to cumbersome. Constantly needing to be updated. Huion customer/product support non-existent.

8:24 those kind of surfaces feel awful and I would not recommend this for beginners because of that.
