Yes, the groove is much like "Biko", but Biko is in a major key and this is minor. I was definitely listening to a lot of Gabriel when I wrote this tune back in 1986. Thanks for listening.
Thanks, Juan, This was a magic concert for me. The studio, the Greg Howard Band CD, "Lift" is currently only vailable as a digital download (itunes, etc)
Muito bom como sempre! Very good as always! This was one of the first tunes that I've heard from yours, the sax theme is magnetic! Beautiful song! You rock man!
Thanks for sharing your music, Greg! Your playing is awe inspiring! Too bad that I can't effort a Stick for myself - Furthermore... I wouldn't even know who could teach me playing it! Ha - well.. Take care!

Hi Aleksander, Thanks for such a kind comment. Since I posted this tune here, I've placed the CD "Lift" which has a studio version of it available on iTunes, etc. I was really privileged to play with these guys. skål!
The band doesn't exist as a band anymore, but you can find me there at: /gregplaysthestick and jan wolfkamp is is on there as well. Thanks for your interest. The Cd that this song is on is available from itunes, it's called "Lift"
Greg, this sounds so great. I got your cd "water on the moon" when i was 10, and i've loved it since. I have one question, where can I buy a chapman stick?

The sop sax player has a sick tone. Also, he could get a job as a pirate.
this band have a myspace or something?
it must be hard to try and look cool with the stick. it has to stay in one postion relatively speaking.
