First to touch the bottom 💪
At that moment...PING!!
shoulda put a FF sign at the bottom, like we did on the moon!! LOL
what the heck cleeter lol
with your head above the water hahaha
what the FREak are u even driving mr cleet ??! big porshe guy ?
If Cleetus is visiting Mike, he's got something up his sleeve. Can't wait to find out what it might be.
I wonder if this was from a few weeks ago when he was out here with Dave Sparks getting his Blackhawk rating?
My hope is an ls swapped carbon cub.
How about Garrett building the same house
I have a feeling Cleetus is going to be an investor in the Patey’s airport hangar development.
@@savage6394 Few of the guys all got their rating. Possible it was filmed then while everyone was in town.
What a surprise to see Garret show up and crush that dive to the bottom in that cold water! I love that you two are that close.
I love how a man with Mike's money isn't above using Harbor Freight tools.
Beautiful house Mike.
Thanks for sharing it with us!
Beautiful job!
I tiled my outside patio and front entry. 1500sq. My wife and I. Prep and install, materials bid 40k. Our costs 5k. I am 70, she is 68. Price includes ibuprofen.
Impressive
That’s so great!! And yes, we’ve gone through a bit of ibuprofen over here too 😆
Well done, Andrew! I plan to build much of our new home. It will be an adventure.
@@ChandraSlyFoxPateyYou have a beautiful home and excellent taste. I'm not fooled here, we know who made the decisions. Even if the videos assume Mike all the credit! 😂
Ol’ Cleet impressed the hell out of me with that dive! I thought he was going to come right back up but he made it look easy. Insane! 🦅 🇺🇸 🦅
How you got a Florida man to dive into 40 degree water we may never know, but we do know this Mike, you have engineered, designed and built a spectacular home. It truly deserves to be recognized in some dedicated engineering magazines and those showcasing unique homes. Few may realize your true capabilities but we do. Thank you for bringing us along for the ride!
Garret is originally from Nebraska
Midwest folks for ya. They're a little cold resistant
The giraffe in Mike's pool. 🤣
Is there anything that Mike Patey can’t do! Mike you have unlimited talents, I was in awe of all the airplanes but you can build houses too! Amazing! Congrats on the new house it is awesome! Best wishes to you and your family
Giving Ron Swanson a run for the money!
That's not a house, it's a castle!!
The place is coming together really nicely.
Not that it would ever be sold but could you imagine the agent explaining the house?
“Excuse me you said the pool was how deep and does what?!?!”
Cleetus reminds me of three students at a Bible college in New Brunswick, Canada who went swimming on the ice cakes in the Saint John River just after the ice "went out" in the spring. They were "nuts" is about all I can say. Way to go, Cleetus. Mike, the pool deck is looking great.
Mike you’re an amazing human being! You’re an engineer, plane builder, house builder what can’t you do! Bravo!
You know, the tech is frickin' amazing and all, and the construction is meticulous, but the other thing I notice watching this is just how *tasteful* everything is. Cabinetry, stone choices, right down to the tile pattern on the pool deck. This is going to be an absolutely gorgeous place.
This house is going to be one of the most high quality built homes in America!! Its so impressive to see the thought that goes into every detail of this place. Its truly incredible. A place built for royalty. Then again i'd say the Patey's are aviation royalty.
Yet again, I’m commenting to say Matt Risinger has got to do a build show of this place.
The stuff you do and make are what dreams are made of! Cheers
Took a break from this project, found Cleetus McFarland's channel through someone else, then came back to see a wild Cleetus Cameo! Hell yeah Brother!
Cleetus is going to turn Freedom Factory into a giant pool 😎
Oh Cleeter gonna freeze little Cleeter off!!! Love you both now back to work !!!
Beautiful place,Mike's a genius, what an incredible man,I know very little about him and I'm amazed already
Cleetus never fails to surprise. Looks great sir.
I love watching every video. No matter the subject, the attention to detail is encouraging. Thx Mike, Mark, and family.
Such a beautiful home Mike. You’ve really set a standard with that build and so much thought has gone into each design phase to ensure longevity of the products used.
1st class as always

If you can’t say something nice then maybe don’t say anything at all.
@@aileronsintowind6835 You seriously need to lighten up! He meant that in a totally fun way! Maybe take your own advice!
@@kevinm3751 if you read what he wrote then no it wasn’t termed nicely. It’s written to demean.
Referring to someone as a 1st class show off is insulting of that persons character.
@@aileronsintowind6835 and you sir...?
Never ever seen this coming. My favourite people to ever post on TH-cam collab❤️
For most people 'good enough' is the enemy of 'done'. For Mike 'good enough' is the enemy - get it 'done'. Back to work! 💪
"innovate Every Day" is our company motto and is on the wall of our design studio shop. You live that ethos Mike and crew- well done!
That's a Florida Man for ya! Looks great!! 🇺🇸 🤘🏻
Cleetus gettin ideas for his new house build.😊
Let’s goo Cleetus wants a plane
I love all the details with that amazing house.
I really like all of the things that you do (engineering) to prevent potential problems from happening. The attention to detail.
I didn’t know giraffes could swim let alone dive, beautiful work on the pool area mike . You never disappoint.
That house is beautiful
You continue to raise the bar for top quality builds. I really enjoy any glimpse you are willing to share of your life and the projects you take on. Thank you!
10:52 - I SAY THIS ALLL THE TIME! "Mother Nature wins every time". Mike thinks like I do, I'll take that as a small compliment. Made my day!
❤I love it when two of my long time favorite channels come together!❤
Great idea heating the kitchen counter for baking projects!
Cleet is the Man! And Mike, your work & skills are impeccable! This will be a great collab for sure
You'd be a great General Contractor! I like the attention to longevity details. Congrats, Mike.
Ive never seen someone over engineer everything he does. My OCD loves this
I’ve been in the construction trade for 40 yrs. Mike teaches me shit every video, very humbling 💪🏽
Outstanding Mike! Outstanding!
Would love to see more of your awesome new home build.
Looking amazing! Love the attention to longevity details. Do it right, do it once!
Over the TOP 😁
Thank you for sharing an update! Love it!
One word comes to mind… “wow”. That is going to be an amazing place to live in. I wouldn’t expect anything less though
More awesomeness! Love the visit from Cletus!
🤟🏽😎
Two of the coolest dudes!! Best Saturday drop yet!!
Nebraska boy at heart doing the cold plunge
Can’t wait to see the final product
Cleetus will take on anything. His ring man and confidant,Squirrel is conferred with as to the risk factor and if Squirrel says no then Cleetus will usually do it anyway. Only $200,000.00 for labor and you decided to make it a home project. At that price I’m guessing they really didn’t want to do it either. What you are doing is above and beyond. It’s April of ‘24 and I think the house is way further along now. Beautiful counter top too. 👍👍🇨🇦
Good morning from Minnesota!! Wow! Really coming together!! Excited for you guys!!
Good job Garret!! 👍🤓❤️
Never heard of heated countertops. Very clever. One more feature to add to the list for my ultimate kitchen.
I would LOVE to see a Cleet/Patey race plane beat Turbulence's record. Literally my two favorite channels!
I made an outdoor kitchen at home in Wisconsin, I used granite tile bedded in thinset, big mistake the third winter lifted most of the tiles, I pulled all of the tiles and cleaned them up and used silicon to bed them and allowed the silicone to fill the joints as well. Clean up was a little more difficult but it been 6 years and no problems, win win.
Thanks for the comment. Sorry you had to go through all that.
The tile deck is gorgeous.
You are an absolute legend! I was just passing through the Salt Lake city area yesterday and I wondered how the house was coming along. I'm excited to see what project is next!
Finally a Cleetus friendly sized pool
Due to time crunch, back to work will now be said, while working lol. What an amazing place
Building a multi-million dollar house with harbor freight tools. Love it.
She’s came a long ways!
That is a SEXY tile install. Like, Damn.
Beautiful home, Mike! Great job!
After this, Mikes turns on the heat
230k for labor, damn. That's an entire new house in Texas.
That’s the fuck you no price lol
Pretty sure they knew the hell they’d get put through expecting perfection in every millimeter. Thats why the price was $240k for labor. Thats the, “I don’t want to do it” price. Can’t say I blame them.
It's gonna be a great day when my 2 favourite TH-camrs are in one video 😁
I'll second that.
Cleat is the perfect mix of Nebraskan and florida man. I had no doubt in him
Patey screeds, trowels, and planes, of course.
✊Back to Work
Wow, what a house.
Another banger and surprised to see Garret here! Keep it up!
I guess ol cleeter is land sea and air now. That was a good dive.
Cleeter getting some new construction ideas.
$200k to just lay some tile is crazy! And yes I know it wasn’t just “laying” tile but you can build a nice house for $200k so for labor of finishing a patio is just crazy!
Incredible tile work! Your entire pool setup is very impressive. I love it. Now back to work.
230k in labor alone! Someone gave you the “F off” price.
Not suprised you did it yourself, I’m sure the quote made you extra fired up to do it.
I have never heard of much less seen heated counter tops. Talk about attention to detail. I would expect nothing less.
You need an RC draco submarine for the pool.
Now THAT would be something!
Just plain COOL Mike........... except the cold/pool thing........... I'll wait until it warms a bit then I'll be over. (lol)😁
The tile looks great! I have one suggestion: use the same glasses to see the sun with and put them on when on the deck. It will be just a little bright.
100% YUM!
Can't wait to see pool floor...
Wow, awesome work and attention to details.
Very impressive craftsmanship. As usual, Mike is at the tip of the DIY spear.
Mike - You have just confirmed what you already knew - Cleetus is nuts .. LOL
I remember the first plunge of the season, always a shocker
Man that’s a freaking cool pool!!!!
This is the hardest working man on earth. He and chuck norris are the only two people who will look at you funny if you mention the word “couch”.
Wow so impressive, what a build!
I like to put in two sensors in heated floors, if one goes bad i just connect the other one and don't need to lift the floor or counter because a broken sensor. Learned this from my tile contractor years ago. 😊
By far my favorite channel.
I love watching Mike's video's, he makes me feel smarter than I am, when he starts talking all the engineering talk, I just nod my head up and down, like I understand what he's saying. But I actually have no clue, most of the time. 🤣 Keep up the Great work.
Cleetus M...good job
When your intro says "we're going to do all kinds of fun things" this is not one that I could ever have imagined. But you're right this is very fun. Thanks for the video.
Amazing work Mike! If you want it done right you have to do it yourself.
Gotta say Mike, I wish we were neighbors. I would love to take a dive into that pool!. Great job.
That house and yard and pool and everything is AMAZING!!! Finely crafted and beautiful.
Thanks for posting, your blessing bless us who are watching. So awesome to see a family so blessed, so humble, and hard working, makes me want to work smarter not harder.
Beautiful job on the tile Mike .
I just love watching OCD in action. Mike is a perfectionist. Just love the results of his projects. Mike please keep them coming. Thanks
