@@jconner3891 I usually run an overdrive with the jcm 800 but wanted to make a video showing how just the amp compares to thr 5150. Thanks for watching.
@@belladosemusic3178 the SV20h is a great amp too. I dont have one (yet) to record though. I did another version with a class 5 and a version with a mini silver jubilee though.
@@tomi1537Thank you! The Marshall was presence middle and treble at 6. Bass at 7. Both volumes on 10. The 5150 was the blue channel with everything around 6.
@@Nathan-fv8rt well it is double tracked. One hard left and another hard right. Plus with recording you usually want to use less gain. Live I almost always use a boost.
@@chadhagene7665 tone is very simular, the big boi is bigger sounding but ungodly loud, i need earplugs in to turn master to a quarter, it needs to be up there to open up, i was impressed with the sc20
another over processed youtube video where every amp sounds the same. just use one room mic and forget trying to make it sound perfect. just let us hear how it really sounds in the room. nobody cares what I think but I have to vent so I don't have a stroke
They both sound great.
@@lostinpa-dadenduro7555 thank you! I thought so too.
Never liked marshal my self. But everyone else can make them sound great. Both are fantastic. I do have the stealth 50 ❤

Great tones from both. Makes me want to trade my SV20 for the 800.

great comparison! I have sc20 and I'm thinking of getting the 5153 50w. what are your settings for both amps?

What are you boosting the 800 with?
