Ruthie, I love the way you start with your subway trip through the city. You packed so much into nine minutes. It is so wise and inspiring and fun to watch.

Terrific TEDEx talk. Hearing the story of Neal Katyal gave me confidence that my habit of over preparation is a good thing.

Ruth Rocks! That is great research in how we can overcome the pervasive need to follow the average. Tap into your intrinsic motivation, look for different perspectives when facing a challenge, perfect your technique, become a lifelong learner.

Dr. Gotian, What an inspirational Tedx talk! Even after years of following my intrinsic motivation, like a broken-field runner, I can get bumped off the path and get disoriented. I LOVE the reminder to honor my purpose and ask "What is the strategy I have not thought of yet" to get there. Great insights, thank you!

Love the push to get beyond prescriptive lists of rules that work for one person and not another - especially as one of the night owls Ruth Gotian refers to in her talk. Humane and thoughtful advice.

Incredible Ted Talk! As an aspiring lawyer currently studying at an Ivy League institution, it was incredible to gain incredible insights into what it took to become a successful lawyer in the highest court of the land. I also recommend reading her book, The Success Factor, as it builds on the talk given today!

That was an AMAZING TALK! I kept expecting a bullet list of rules to appear on a projector screen, but instead we had to see for ourselves what the mindsets were from the stories you told. That way we’ll never forget!

I thoroughly enjoyed this T-Talk. Dr. Ruth articulates her vision and her personal mindset as she is delivering the message. The Success book was awesome, and the delivery of her words on the pages popped with “realism” just as her voice does here within this video. Excellently done.
