For Ordo Malleus, the advantage of getting 2 sets of Inquisitorial Henchmen is this:
The kit only builds half the unit.
You can run it as a 14 man unit (16 if you can acquire a Daemonhost and Jokaero), so this box can build a full sized retinue for Coteaz.

So for Xenos, the issue is that you can only field half of what you need for the Inquisition Kill Team with what's in the box since they're all dual-build kits and you have nothing else to pair them with. The Deathwatch Kill Team also needs 6 models, not 5, so you need to source one more there as well. For Hereticus, you can pair the Agents with the Exaction squad, which technically gives you 2 full teams, along with the Sisters who can be a Compendium Kill Team, so 3 total. For Maleus, you get double the Agents which can give you the full models for that specific team without needing to pair up with anyone else. The Grey Knight Kill Team has the same issue as the Deathwatch, you need 1 more model for the Compendium squad.

Already have Blackstone Fortress and its Escalation expansion so have all those minis... Xenos box, already have the Rogue Traders... Malleus, GK Termies are eh, and already have some... Hereticus, already have Greyfax from Imperium magazine, and don't really like Sisters and their boob armour (could mod that I suppose)... I guess it's a pass on all of them for me, probably for the best. Thank you for the breakdown!

Swap Chonker with Pious Vorn, add in a Callidus or Vindicare assassin and that order Hereticus box would have been a really awesome box. Xenos would have been great with an assassin included and yeah that Malleus box is all around bad as not only is the new model really bad looking (dumbed down stormcast with a diaper) you also get 2 of the same killteam in it and the vehicle included is not as cool as the vehicles included on the other boxes.

Unfortunately I need to tell you...
The Ordo Malleus box does not contain a Hellhound but a standard Chimera, which is like the Grey Knights Terminators old enough to drink. This makes your savings number off as well, because those two are not in a multibox but two separate ones... sorry 😅

I really like what they’re trying to do with the Agents codex but man, none of these battleforces feel good. I have one inquisitorial agents box already done and painted and I cannot think of a universe where I take a second, let alone a third (Malleus).
The Malleus box has the pieces I’d more want, except for it’s too much filler. I might wait and see if sales flop like i think they will and see if I can’t score one for cheap and flip the pieces I don’t care for.

Not sure why they could not just have black spear in the space marine or imperial agents codex, or a supplimemt. Imperial Agents should just be an army that blends other imperial forces around inquistor shenanigans like they are attempting with Grey Knights and Sisters. Throw Astra Militarum in for good measure.
