Shotpistols equipment sounds great for the shield and maul members, who doesn't have any ranged attacks
I, for one, say it "ahhh-butts" because it gives the pronunciation that real British accent feel.

the castigator says they can only perform pass actions when arrested, not that you cant move up and use ruthless efficiency to shoot them with shotguns

i guess a niche case for the mastiff's apprehend ability is that it puts D3 mortal wounds on something so that could be useful to get a kill or knock someone into injured
I believe it is Ar-bee-tees.
I've always said (ahr-bai-uh-deez) because GW takes so much roman inspiration in the Imperium and many names in the era were pronounced in such a way. I certainly doubt it's what they were going for but it sounds the most thematic for the faction.

Yeah, I spent years calling them (AR-Bites), until I was corrected by someone from GW UK...

lol sorry for laughing you struggling to say it. gw did make a pronunciation vid AR-BEE-TEES. either way say it how you want you know what you meant. Love your channel, first one I came across. I even went through your earlier vids to learn as much as I could. Thanks for making them, keep it going!

What is the bases size for them?
32mm I believe - hopefully someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm using plastic 25mm Necromunda bases glued on top of 28mm bases. Gives them some nice added height and makes them more menacing.
Necromunda bases are also one of the best, cheapest, basing solutions I've ever used.

Tac Op 2 is just really good. You just force your opponent to run into range of the shotguns or you get victory points for nothing. How to counteract this tactically?
maybe against elite teams, otherwise it's too easy for 1 operative not to be in the range you need.
Wouldn’t it be nice if we could play these teams. Sadly, sold out.

Great video! Everytime i get a killteam i check your videos to figure out how to play lol. Games workshop put a video out its R-beat-ees if that helps anyone.
These guys pretty much suck. They don't hit hard enough, 6" weapons are a joke, they're armor is weak, and they hit like wet noodles in combat.
Added to this, they have an incredibly limited toolbox that doesn't give them many options.
It's going to take a really skilled player to get mileage out of these models, but the worst part is that they look viscious but aren't nearly as effective as veteran guardsmen.
If their shotguns actually had range, these guys could be amazing, but somehow GW doesn't think a shotgun is effective past the length of a bedroom. It kind of breaks any sense of verisimilitude because in reality, shotguns would be brutally effective in the ranges we see in Kill Team games.
Gamey things like this are what makes Kill Team incredibly frustrating.
Exactly this. They hit and shoot a little harder than Vet Guard troops, but with less bodies and worse special weapons.
STOP making new teams GW, if you can't even make former teams playable!!! Kasrkin and Hierotek Circle *cough* *cough*

It's probably different teams that work on balance and new teams. If there is no new content, the game stagnates.
