This gorgeous contractor built tiny house on wheels has everything she needs and provides a great living space for her. You can't choose what happens to you, but you can choose how you react. That saying kept going through my head while watching this video. Iuwan took on a terrible situation and improved her life in the process.

Luwan was my neighbor for over a year. The house is much more spacious than it appeared in this video. It is even more beautiful in person, with a very calming atmosphere. The insulation and quality windows in this home eliminated all exterior noise from coming inside.

Why should she have to "sugar coat it"....if she is at a point in her life where she feels confident about herself and could give a rat's ash about yours or mine opinion! I love her attitude! And her tiny home!

She has her priorities right: go tiny, with your three dogs, travel, be outside and save money. She can later buy land and take her home there! She even has great advice to rent first before you buy if you want to follow her footsteps. I really appreciate her layout and sink is normal size. I like the design and style here! Kicker panels are genius. I like this designer!!

I think her idea of living in a tiny home before committing is a great idea. I know this isn’t for me but it’s one of the nicest home designs I’ve seen. Hope her future is blessed!!
This is such a well thought out space and the fact that they completed this within 3 months is amazing. I also love the fact that she didn’t hesitate to share her story behind why she moved into a tiny home. To say it was bc her husband cheated has to be freeing to share that kind of truth. 😌

@@IndigoRiverTinyHomes I used to live in a pull behind and had a stackable unit. Worked great! This all in one is a great space saver andv you can probably do bigger loads but doesn't it seem like there would be a lot of residual water for it to then become a dryer?

Building the bed over the bathroom ceiling is absolutely brilliant. I've never seen anything like that and think it should be in every loft tiny house ever built.

Love love love this tiny home you designed. There are so many inspirational things in your tiny home; like the special 2 way sliding shower doors, the loft bedroom you can stand up in, having 2 closets to store clothes, etc, the open concept shelves in the kitchen & even your other loft space with the special meditation chairs that click into a position. Like so many people commented you have a natural ability with your calm demeanor to narrate this video. You narrate like you are a professional & did an excellent job explaining things some people don’t think about when planning a little home. I think you can have a job as a narrator for doing tiny home videos or something along that line as you were easy to listen to. Thank you for your video & sharing your journey with us

Inspirational & I hope her the best. Most ppl that are happy have chosen to have little in materialistic things and live bigger with exploring outdoors. I'm glad she got custody of the dogs ( assuming they were during the relationship ).
I wonder what’s my county’s rule on tiny homes. They banned shipping container homes. Clearly they prefer homeless everywhere instead of allowing affordable housing. One day I will own my tiny home.

I really wish America would allow tiny house communities. We don’t want or need these excessive homes.
Corporate greed won’t allow us to own land and build these tiny home communities legally even though it’s much needed.
They’ll continue to bleed us dry until the end. So sad and frustrating.

I love your tiny home. I lost my husband suddenly as he passed away in 2007.
I sold my 4 bedroom bungalow and downsized to a 2 bedroom house with a garage(storage now). It is comfortable and more than sufficient for 1 person. Saves a lot of money in expenses. I gave up driving and saving at least £3k per year. I use free bus pass, tram rides and local trains. Sometimes short taxi rides for heavy shopping. Life goes on and you find ways to be happy. I went dancing Mon to Fri before the Lockdown. Missing my dancing friends.
My house is not as nice as yours but it gives me privacy and freedom. We don't have Tiny house here like yours. Thank you for sharing. We will manage very well.

Of all the tiny house tours I have watched, this is by far my favorite! It's well laid out, lots of storage, lots of windows giving it a brighter and airy feel! I love that kitchen and bathroom! The modern farmhouse style is very appealing to me. The use of white shiplap for the walls really makes it more homey. I also appreciate that she shared additional information and tips. Thanks!🤗😘😊

I love the dog shrine! It would also make for an amazing indoor garden, keeping the plants safe from the dogs and vice versa.
She is so strong to decide that okay i've been through some hard things but i can start over. Happiness does not mean having much and should come from within oneself not another person or material things.. Good for her honestly the home is amazing!

This home is gorgeous! I love the soft pop of colors she chose for the cabinetry. I would have never considered ever living in a tiny home due to my love of small kitchen appliances but that catwalk would be a great space for storing extra kitchen appliances and then using a sliding library ladder to access them. She did such a great job with figuring out storage space for her needs.
This is a really well make tiny home. It is beautiful with a lot of natural light. The colors math so well. It is better than most of the tiny home I watched on youtube.
She has personalised it for every part of her life. I hope she will be very happy there.

@@ikb8373 Was cheated on when I was nineteen and after we broke it off for the final time all these so called friends mentioned they knew for a fact he was cheating...why not tell me? I was exposed to diseases and he was gaslighting me. I suspected he was cheating but had no way to prove it. It was incredibly painful finding out for sure he was a liar and manipulator but also finding out so many people I thought were my friends were apparently ok with his bad behavior. It does a number on your mental health. Happily married for forty one years to a man who would never do that.
He probably got tired of having pet hairs all over his clothes every time he got off the coach.
@@martymaloney1032 wow so happy for you. I had a similar experience happen to someone I know in my personal circle. Just glad to say that she is happy doing her own thing without that sad excuse of an ex. A weight was lifted off all our shoulders after she dumped him because he was just so toxic.

This is my favorite of all the Indigo River tiny home videos, and I’ve seen nearly all of them. The close-ups of the dogs made it fantastic! But the main thing was seeing how all her stuff really fit. Most videos show the homes empty so you don’t get an idea of how the future occupant(s) will live.

This was a beautiful tiny home. The layout is perfect and I really LOVE the ability to stand in the bedroom loft! Very nicely done. I especially love the thought that went into purchasing dish ware that is both useable AND display worthy with the open shelving. It amazes me how much thought goes into the minor details all while still building the structure! Very tasteful!

Wow, this has to be one of my fave tiny homes and I think her customizations are spot on. Other than in her lounge she doesn’t have to be hunched over and I love that she has enough space to stand and stretch! I looove all her “full size” furniture and appliances bc that must make tiny home living much easier.
I love how she wasn’t afraid to use black and darker colors in her design. It’s refreshing to see!

Gorgeous tiny home! Really like the clever layout of her loft with the outside storage underneath giving her room to walk around 2 sides of the bed -- great window seat with desk/counter area -- and I also like the windows to the inside on both. The catwalk is also a great idea for seasonal storage (in nice boxes / baskets) as well as display.

I love that Luwan didn't hesitate in sharing why she moved from her "everyday" life to where she is now.
