Beautiful! Hands down one of the best ones I've seen. Wood cabin walls are ok to visit, but for me they get dark dreary depressing after a while. So glad to see this couple go bright and light. Only negative abt tiny homes is. I AINT LIVIN N A TRAILER PARK LMAO. nothing against the projects or trailer parks out there. Just saying nice inside but look out window. Still a trailer park. Hahahaha. Only way I'd like it is if I bought a piece of land first. Not paying anybody s lot rent just my own taxes. That place just like a condo. They can charge whatever the heck they want for lot rent and condo fees. And for condos they can foreclose ur condo if u stop paying their fees. Or BUILDING FUND. LOL used to be liens but now it's foreclosure. And sell ur condo for 5k if they want too. Even if u owe bank MTG. So tiny looks nice but only on my land

I love the outside amenities....the patio, the extra room... I’d love to have heard the cost. it’s a real shame they can’t have their dog!!
Hi - this is Cathy and my partner Chris and I own this tiny house - we are so glad you’re enjoying it! I’d just like to add a bit of information - especially about our dog! She is an old rescue girl, whose name is Pico and she’s been beloved by our family for many years. When we travel or live in CA, what is best for her is to be in her own home, with people she knows and we’ve been fortunate to be able to provide that for her. One of our kids or friends move into our place in the fall when we leave and out in the spring when we come back. It’s good for everyone. Our Yukon home is also very small - a 2 bedroom townhouse with a tiny front and back yard, which makes us appreciate our outside space in CA even more!
Thanks for clearing up the dog issue. We have a 12yr old lab (rescued at 7yr and he was abused) i see your point, older dogs are harder to travel with. As long as you have loving family to care for your furbaby!
Cathy R, Thank you for giving us this info Cathy; I kind of wondered when you said you'd left a MEMBER of your FAMILY BEHIND!? I'm happy Pico is loved and cared for; no matter who she's with, she's always with her family! We also have an old rescue girl: my daughter saw Bella on FB several years ago; they were taking her to the pound because SHE LICKED A BURGLAR! But...it was their 'friend' who didn't know about the cameras, broke into their shop and stole stuff; she knew him, so she didn't 'guard' the shop, allowing him to leave; we joke she'd have helped him carry the stuff if she could!! She's been named 'Rufus' and 'Tiger' and a horrible mean racist name (they were Hispanic people in Watsonville, near Santa Cruz.) She met them, took her in and we've lived her ever since! She absolutely loves my daughter, she wants to snuggle every time Becky comes home from work or has days off. And she's been a very good kids' dog too! Oh, I forgot...Bella was owned from birth by a horrible dog-fighting ring in King City; since she refused to fight, they said they used her as a 'bait dog' and she's got many scars! How can ANYONE be so cruel, I'll never know!!!! Over my lifetime, I and our family have never bought our animals; when one passes away, we go to a local pound or shelter, and pick one, even if it takes weeks to find the right one! We believe they appreciate it, that they realize we saved them, and they are happy for it. We now have as members of our family Bella, a 9 year-old 150# big baby beautiful brindle colored Cano Corso; Charlie, a 4 year-old 125# rescued St. Bernard who is nearly blind now; Lucky, a 12 year-old mutt maybe of poodle, Bijon Frise, cocker spaniel, who chewed a hole in our fence many years ago and moved in, neighbors told us he'd been the neighborhood stray for 5 years previous; and Killer, my 50/50 chihuahua and Jack Russell Terrier who was going to be drowned because they dropped him on his head as a baby, and he'd had seizures, but hasn't had any in the 16 years I've loved him!! We also have two rescue cats - real spoiled babies!! Cathy, I hope you've enjoyed reading about our full house! Oh, we are also multi-generational here too: my daughter has us all living in her modest home! There's my daughter, her husband, her 17 y/o son, her 19 y/o daughter, her two step daughters, me, my former foster daughter (who is sister to my bio kids) and her daughter! I send much & many Blessings to You and Your Family!!!!

Cathy R Love your house! I really do. My husband and I are thinking of building a tiny house. Could you tell me the measurements of this beautiful house? Thanks!
@@actualangel5133 It's a 400sq feet home. It IS small. Just that the way they have laid it out and the furniture they have used make it look a lot more spacious. My apartment is exactly the size of this house but it looks much smaller.
@@actualangel5133 In early "tiny house" days, TINY was an apt adjective because the dwellings really were tiny. Today I think "tiny house" is more a trend or lifestyle than anything else. This home is stunning, well thought out with beautiful personal touches. But they have more "stuff" than I do in my 1300 s.f. house which is simple & comfy. Agreed, but some of us, especially if we don't have another person to pool resources with, have to work longer in order to later have enough money to eat and live. A lovely house, very sweet, mutually respectful couple. They were so right to make the quality of the finish a priority. Very liveable design and layout including the outside space.
Info and imaginable numbers about retirement. Oh this woman and her husband has extremely great knowledge for now and your future. This is a beautiful dream. Motivation. Love the colors, details, space, and high ceilings all in a TINY HOUSE.
I love the color scheme they chose for the interior! Just beautiful and something I would never think of. The paintings & the furniture with little bursts of orange and that navy blue rug play off each other, and the white walls make the colors more vivid!
A nice cultivate / cultural couple who love /s / books. Beautiful design , well thought home. I don't like dishwater too. One thing is missing : a wash / dry machine combo.
It’s a beautiful design, very high end, and the lot it’s on is fabulous. The only thing that stood out to me had nothing to do with the house. I just would not build wherever I couldn’t bring my dogs! But otherwise it’s perfect. 💜. Whoops I just saw your post below! I understand because one of my dogs is 15 years old and quite deaf now. She is very set in her ways & I think a move would be hard for her!

Really like the design of this home, so comfortable and gorgeous, the closets are a bit of a revelation as well!
Cathy, you're such a wonderful host. I literally watch this video everyday! This is so me! I'm praying for this tiny home...Thanks for sharing!
They did it right. It's light, airy and spacious. I also love their outdoor space as well as the multipurpose shed.
I’ve seen so many tiny houses and this house is the most beautiful I’ve seen. The outside is stunning.
classy couple with a classy tiny house! Thank you so much for sharing. I'm glad Pico your pup is loved and cared for but I could never live anywhere where I couldn't have my doggies :D
Love the floorplan and all the outside área! I'm retiring in May 2021 and look forward to having my tiny space. This is great inspiration.
The White and Black, with colorful art is AMAZING... this gets me to thinking about my house again...
This is one of my favorite tiny home layout so far!!
I love that they open with a chat about 'stuff' as I really like their stuff. They have a good eye, and they seem like good conversation as well.
I love how bright it is in this house. And, I love the closet/shelving unit in the bedroom.
One of the best layouts I really appreciated the how they use their money to get good quality stuff. It shows very organized. I was very impressed with everything.
I've been watching a lot of tiny homes on you tube and yours is by far the BEST, in space, organization, brightness and no loft. I so love it💓. I would love to have one built in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Thank you so much for sharing 🙏
I love this house. If those paintings on the walls are hers, she is a GREAT artist. I love the color scheme, the white walls with rich artwork. LOVE THIE HOUSE!
“Ice cream drawer of happiness! “❤️❤️ lovely house
I have been binge watching tiny homes for a week now. This is by far the best tiny home I have seen!!! No stupid loft you can't stand up in. Love the decor! Great job. I want one.
I absolutely love this home! I love seeing white walls and beautiful art, but not crowded or ... trying too hard. It's just beautiful.
One word it's straight enter my Heart Like an ARROW..
YOU CAN MAKE MONEY but YOU CANNOT MAKE TIME..
That's the million dollar statement..
I loved you kitchen cabinets. Drawers are the way to go. I also loved your bathroom sink. Never saw drawers in a sink like that before. Your closet in your bedroom was very nice also. I guess I need to check out IKEA. I have a large home now and just retired. Were thinking if possibly getting a smaller home.
It is very modern and perfect. Enjoy
You have a beautiful home, and your art is gorgeous! You both seem very happy together, and that is a gift!
Dear Aunty now Uncle u both are loving caring couple. Ur tiny house is a role model for many of us. God bless u both with health happiness always.
WOW, I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE! Absolutely beautiful design, utilization, and decoration of the space. Phenomenal!
I love this couple, and their home is dreamt!
I’m in love on their tiny house design. It’s one of the best I’ve ever seen💖
I LOVE YOUR TINY HOUSE. Enjoy .
She said in response to another comment that they chose not to have a washer/dryer. They use facilities that are available to all the residents.
Beautiful. About 400 sq ft seems to be the 'sweet spot' if you want a one floor plan.
This is officially the best "tiny house" I have ever seen..... I can see myself living here.... I honestly went to replicate this so badly XD
The Coachella Valley brings lots of interesting people, welcome home❣️
Lovely couple beautiful home god bless you both thanks for sharing💗🙏
*Cozy, cute abode...* ♥️
And what a lovely pair!!
*The perfect layout* for *the perfect couple!*
They've articulated so well the concepts of freedom and ownership of time.
♥️
#staywell everyone.
