I adore the lively colors used throughout this home 🏡. I especially am vibing on that kitchen cabinet color. It looks so "Florida" which is where I live but teal of any shade, hue, value is my fave. Love her hair style too. Just about 3 weeks ago (July 28, 2023) I buzzed all my hair off for a G.I. JANE kinda length, much to the chagrin of everyone that knows me LOL 😂😅. Much cooler now I don't have all that hair keeping the heat in which I'm sure will resonate with her.

Thank you Alexis and Christian for including diverse people in your excellent videos. It's very sad that people do not feel safe in their communities because of what others see as "unconventional". I hope your videos will help people to see that we are all just human beings, and to respect and accept others - even if you don't understand them. Jane't home is lovely, and I would be happy to have her as my neighbor. I'm glad to see she found a community where she feels safe and connected to others. Sorry for the loss of little Echo.
It’s sad when Americans do not feel safe and have to move to another state. I pray that someday everyone, no matter who they are or love, can find safe haven everywhere in America. Best wishes to this tiny house person!

This is on the very high end; there are many options for much less money
it's not limited to tiny homes. Materials have skyrocketed in recent years. Anything you build is more expensive.
depends what you want. It can be done cheaper if you go with open shelving instead of housestyle cabinetry and fancy countertops. It's up to each person how fancy or simple they want to go just like with a regular house. Custom builds may be more expensive than a basic design and if you do a lot of diy that will also cut the cost.

This tiny house is phenomenal. During the tour of the interior, I was repeatedly shocked that this tiny house was road-legal 8.5' wide. There are SO many features and functioning cool things going on in this one. In love.

Past issues with other people taking care of their animals, or lack thereof, should not be a barrier to others, everyone is different and in this case, its obvious care and love is paramount. I love the BLUE!!

I watched this house being built on the Indigo River TH-cam Channel. It's so good to see her all settled in and happy. I loved this house - the space the way everything was so well thought-out and planned and the size! I live in a 6-bedroom house and my kids have gone (except for one and she will be with us for a while I hope :-) To me, this is the perfect tiny home. and what she said (I'm sorry but I didn't catch her name) about the costs and the time spent cleaning is so appealing to me. I hope she has the best life in her tiny home with her beautiful pets - thanks for sharing,

I enjoyed this video very much. I love the tiny house. She has built with so much natural lighting and great Storage!
Also, I’m glad she was able to find a place to live that allowed her to keep her animals and not having to give up one or two just give me living rules. I love all the storage that you had in your home and especially the closets allowed you to have spring and summer wardrobe together and then fall and winter in a separate one. Who would love to have that feature in your home. I also love the colorful bathroom. I have a granddaughter that loves color and just about everything she ever draws or colors. She puts a colored rainbow on it, but it’s not the traditional colors of a rainbow… She just uses the colors that she thinks should be in a rainbow I guess and I love that about her.
It was really sad to hear you say that you didn’t feel safe in your home. That is just sad for the American people to make somebody else feel like that. We’re all unique and different and we all deserve to be treated respectfully and fairly. I just hate prejudice.!!!!! I am sorry you had to drive to a different state to finally find peace in your home and with the people around you.❣️😊❣️😊♥️♥️♥️ this was a very nice TINY home with a BIG home feeling♥️🌈

Awww Notch reminds me of our Hermie. He & his sister Bella were rescued from a hoarder. He passed away about 3 years ago. We still have Bella and we also have Gene who was found wandering in the rain & was rescued. The shelter named him Gene Kelly but we dropped the Kelly part. They were supposed to be fosters but we knew after 2 days that we were keeping all 3 of them. We've had them almost 10 years.

I love Rolo....having kept English Bulldogs for many years, he's got a special place in my heart -- that blubberly little face! I lost my last one two years ago in March -- his sister the year before in August --- I can't bear to go though it again. I will love watching and enjoying my favorite breed, my precious English Bulldogs as a spectator now.

Yes, you are right, it is one of the worst things in the world, it has happened a few times to me, and every time I'd think "no more pets, I can't go through this again". And guess what?! Eventually, we have a new pet because there are so many dogs and cats (and other animals) who are in the shelter and desperately need a loving home. So don't shop, adopt! It doesn't have to be a English Bulldog. I have the same thing with dachshunds, love them SO much but here in Alberta, Canada, there aren't any dachshunds to adopt, but so many other deserving dogs. Sorry for the long speech, it's just very close to my heart. There is a amazing dog waiting for you in the shelter! All the best : )

Thank you for another great video guts!!!! And wow, what an incredibly sweet lady.. And I'm sorry to her for the fears she has had to endure, and the worries and threats, on losing rights. We are in Canada, and no worries of going backwards here on that regard... But I also share her worries and hope the world keeps, evolving to understand more clearly love is love. We have a safe political climate for our LGTBQ community, and also... a recent change In the past few years in Vancouver BC, it has been lovely to see our trans folks feeling safe enough to dress out in whatever clothing and fashion feels most comfortable for them, expressing gender freely, we have a lot to learn from our trans community, it gives me warm fuzzies to see our trans community beginning to wear their hair and clothes in fully expressed ways that feel right for them, and holding hands... But I still see their fear in how they move, and walk, sometimes physically feeling afraid, or hesitant to make eye contact, but things are shifting, becoming more open and embracing... And I hope bit by bit globally there is more and more understanding and openness for the entire LGTBQ community.. For people to be fully expressed as who they are, as they each feel right to be for themselves, openly and safely. Thank you for sharing your story, and for your bravery to be fully expressed.... And wow, your home is gorgeous :) blessing you in every way... And good luck on your continued tiny house journey

My 4 kids have moved out and sure they come back to visit but not at the same time. It's kinda sad to leave all the memories. So sad that you lost Echo..we lost our 2 Griphon/Spaniel X's over the past 2 years 10 and 12 and brothers, they bought so much unconditional love to our home, it is very quiet without them. I can see your home is filled with love too. Rollo is very special and I love your cats and birds. Sad that people judge you just because you have animals. Tiny homes have a special place in our world today. So many people looking for affordable housing yet red tape prevents them being built all over the world. Rentals in Australia are practically zero availability at the moment and a few 100 tiny homes in each shire would solve so many peoples problems. Not sure what you mean by Blue zones etc as we dont have the same systems as you in the States but I wish you well with your life going forward.... I wonder if you will be off to the animal rescue to replace Echo soon or will you stay as you are. Both our boys were rescues and I know they had a better life with us for 7 years than what they had before.
