    used clifton 9 twice got foot fascitiis after 400 km despite slow 60kg runs. just started gohost max: heavy at the beginning but 3 runs after it gets....really cool and less painful

    Very informative. Used ghost max for about two weeks but now after really loving the comfort ( for walking) feel it is effecting hip s and knees where hips seem to be pulling on inside of knees. Also have some toe / foot neuropathy and metarsalagia
    Several months back learned I have some sesamoiditis. I wanted lower heel to toe drop shoe but not if my foot strikes in midfoot area versus heel first. Is the upturned front of shoe harming sesamoid joint? I also need a shoe that has a lot of extra depth due to neuropathy . Most extra depth shoes have outer shoes that are rubber. zu need a softer foam outsole.
    Any advice? Thank you!!

    I like this video esp explaining pronation. I’m sticking w the Bondi 8 for now but good to know there are options. I use my old Brooks for weight lifting now that cushion has worn out.

    The Ghost Max has pretty much saved me from an early wheelchair. I have horrible feet & with these shoes, my foot pain level went from a 10 to a 1. Now I need a waterproof version. I was thinking about Scotch guarding them, but I prefer waterproof rather than water resistant.
    Any suggestions?

    MFDs, Just saw your video on the Brooks Ghost Max. As a runner I'm a fan of the Brooks Adrenalin, love the offset and the stability(guiderails) w/o a medial post, but I have a question. I have a Supinator wear pattern on my running shoes, and always have, but... on the "wet test" I have a flat (Flintstone foot print). What Pct of the population in your experience has this weird combination? Just curious. Thanks!

    I am sad that the Dyad is no longer sold by Brooks. I've worn them for 10 years and love them. I bought the Ghost 4 years ago and they didn't fit at all and I returned them.I'm not a runner and don't need a runner's shoe. I just need a good shoe like the Dyad. The Ghost was too wide across the toe and too short. My toes touched the end of the shoe. I hope I can find some leftover Dyads.

    • @DrTomBiernacki
      @DrTomBiernacki  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I liked the dyad as well, but this version appears more popular for sure... The ghost I would say probably is more for a neutral foot type and less supportive

    what's a good sneaker to walk, i cant run... I had five total knee replacement and the last surgery they had to cut the bone on the right leg so I am 2 1/2 in short I have no shoes because I don't know what to buy or what to wear that would be okay for my foot can you recommend any sneakers that would be good? thank u. and i walk with a cane i am 57 years old. I am off balance because the right leg is shorter than the if you could recommend something for me I would appreciate it and also do you know where I can go to get something to build up the right leg it's two and a half inches so it's very hard to walk so I wanted to know is there a sort of insole that you could recommend that I could get to put in the right leg so it will elevate me so I'm not walking up and down up and down it really destroys my back thank u. I did go to a shoe doctor and they said there's nothing that they could do to help me that I would have to go to a cobbler which I did and spent $400 for them to rip the shoes apart and it never worked it was a sandals so I don't know if a sneakers would make a difference but it was literally between the cobbler and the sandals it was $400 because it was a Birkenstock sandals. thanks

    I used to wear _cheap_ shoes less than $25 for over 30 years! Now I have discovered that they *don't have* the support that is required for the arches! cushioning is one thing, but isn't support more important?
    As I *can not* wear _cheap shoes_ any more, I believe they have damaged my feet. I get pain in my feet - like micro cramps and feels like needles being poked in my feet, also feels like they are burning!
    My doctor says its diabetes, as if! I don't think so!

    • @DrTomBiernacki
      @DrTomBiernacki  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The beauty now is you can have the best of both worlds, there can be support and cushion 🙏❤️😊

    • @stefanierunz
      @stefanierunz 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Support is not REQUIRED for arches, but if you have arches that are weak or collapse more than it can benefit you. With your tingling feet, have you gone in and had your feet measured? I can’t tell you how many folks are in the wrong shoe size for running/walking shoes.

    • @DrTomBiernacki
      @DrTomBiernacki  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I personally think the mesh should have extra accomodation for any issues, did it not fit well in the toe box?

    • @jays7318
      @jays7318 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @DrTomBiernacki I didn't try them on, but just by pictures, I can tell. I use shoes with wider toe boxes like Altras, Keens, Xero, and some Astral models.

    • @stefanierunz
      @stefanierunz 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      I ran my first marathon in the Altra Escalante, and nothing replaces the Altra toe box (aside from maybe Topo). That said, this shoe is fantastic. The whole thing is quite roomy, and accommodates my wide foot in a regular width no problem. Zero issues with toe box space.
