Yes! I just came down to make that same comment! Norm's best. They should do one for Cliffy's quotes. At the end of one of his loony stories about being descended from royalty, Frasier asks: "Cliff - what color is the sky in your world?" One of the greatest subtle put-down lines ever.
One of the best shows on in the 80s. I work in a restaurant / bar setting. We have people that come in that act just like Norm does. There is this one guy in Houston Texas, where I was working and I asked him if you’ve ever watched the show, Cheers. he said no. And I told him he should check it out because he reminded me of this character on their name Norm. He had the comebacks like Norm did same type of life that Norm did, but he was really fun to be around like Norm is.
My top 3....What's shakin Norm?.....All 4 cheeks and a couple of chins, Coach.......It's a dog-eat-dog world and I'm wearin' milkbone underwear..........and of course the one with Frederick saying Norm!! Love this show--I was pretty young when it was on tv but watched all episodes a few years ago when it was on Netflix. One of the best sitcoms ever, cast/writers perfectly awesome!!
My favorite from the ancient days where we watched shows while they were happening was, "Norm, How's life treating you? Like a baby treats a diaper." Could you imagine the fun the writers had making this show?
“Went back for the surf and turf special and got a tuna fish sandwich with beef gravy “. So classic and hilarious. I miss the old times of great writing and acting on comedy shows.
I always found it funny that the seating at the actual bar was always wide open. Almost every place I’ve been you have to squeeze in to get a drink. It was the same at the coffee place on Friends. The sofa was always available.
I don't know why I never noticed this before, but does Norm ever mention growing up in Chicago? Because his accent clearly indicates that he grew up in Chicago. ...And yes, I do know that George Wendt is from Chicago. Just think it's funny that he apparently made no attempt at a Boston accent or to flatten out his prominent midwestern accent.
@@Hammydavis Thanks for letting me know that he was an actor on a TV show, but I actually picked that up. Really helpful, though. Anyway, I've since looked it up and maybe you should watch again. The Cheers & Fraiser Wiki says that, "Prior to the show, Norm was born in Chicago, and moved to Boston to become an accountant."
Sure doesn't pay to watch and LISTEN to this video or any others for that matter. If you want to know about the video, just read the comments. Everything has to be repeated because the rest of us must be f~•√king deaf!
They left out, "it's a dog eat dog world and I'm wearing Milkbone underwear".😂
I was just thinking of that one. Best one ever!!
That's the one I was waiting for, too.

The best scene with Cliff is with the Alex Trebek ending..
And, "Like it caught me in bed with its wife".
George Wendt was a highlight of every episode!

"How's the world treating you, Norm?" "Like a baby treats a diaper."
My favorite was
Sam: “What are you up to Norm?”
Norm: “My ideal weight if I was eleven feet tall“ 😂
Yep, that's the one I was waiting for.

Sam "How's life in the fast lane, Norm?"
Norm: "I don't know, I'm still looking for the on ramp."
RIP Kirstie Alley 😭😭😭😭

"What ya up to Norm?"
"My ideal weight if I was 11ft tall"
It's Normie Norm ❤❤ 😂
Norm was great with his witty comeback. I wasn’t even a teenager yet when I started watching this sow.
When 11 month old Fredericks first word was NORM
This was the best one.
"Norm! What's goin' down???
"My two cheeks on this barstool ..."
“Went back for the surf and turf special and got a tuna fish sandwich with beef gravy “. So classic and hilarious. I miss the old times of great writing and acting on comedy shows.
They left put the best one - Frasier's son's first word.
No he said “mommy”
@@jakeg3126Or as Coach would say, "Normy"

Norm is social stature goals.
My favourite
"What you up to Norm?"
"My ideal weight if I was 11 feet tall"
Loved my Norm he made the show funny
The hungry Heffer. The loobster. The Prime Beff. Those are NOT misspellings!
Does this mean frasier is going back to the old Cheers Bar in season 2 He does live in Boston again.
I cried for the last episode, when Seinfeld ended I couldn't even laugh.
such a valid observation
so the Seinfeld troupe is still in prison?
That last Seinfeld episode was ... blank.
I LOVE Seinfeld, but the finale was an abomination.
You left out the milk one underwear!
MilkBONE underwear!
I am proud to say that i had been to the bar, once….
Hahaha
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SONIC
I miss cheers
I realoly see the family resemblance to his nephew Jason Sudekis.

Norm!
What's shakin'?
All four cheeks and a couple of chins.
An entrance I have remembered since it aired in the 1980s.
It was great to see it again.
