As a kind I wanted the meat (even the chicken breast) to be as uniform as possible (no veins, no tendons, no anything) as it disgusted me like crazy ;P And when I started to cook for myself I remember really struggling at the beginning with the meat cutting process - now it is clear to me that it makes perfect sense as it is just a carcass which is simply horrible! I mean, more people would not eat meat if they had to prepare it themselves from the very start, I am sure :D

Thanks! Sauces make a dish. I honestly think I have some sort of sauce on everything that I eat. That's why I struggle when I have to veganize items at a restaurant. That usually means that I have to leave off the sauce.

Love the muffin shaped rolls, what a great idea! When you were talking about the Mac sauce, I got a mental image of making a Big Mac style one, slicing the bun into thirds and using two patties. I’ve always liked the patty to bread ratio that way. And now I’m wondering about adhering sesame seeds to the buns prior to baking... You’ve made me hungry now, Michael! 🤣. My husband is diabetic and can’t eat such things, it has to actually be homemade and whole wheat for him. So, I cannot do these shortcuts. He is off medication, but still needs to follow carb restrictions. I get that your recipes are for “vegan” thanks for taking the time to post these.
I mean... Kinda. I did make bake them at home. So, they are fresh baked buns. Do what works for you and your family. Yup. Vegan. I make no other promises other than the fact that they are delicious and free of animal products.
