I know this is gonna sound weird, but the VR characters they chose for me added so much to it. Emma's character was very tiny and innocent looking, while Mr. Wobbles' character towered over hers, and for me that made the part where he shares his experience with her and tells her what she needs to do all the more heartbreaking and beautiful. Just the visualization of this large man connecting with and giving advice to this small girl, advice that he wish he had gotten, moved me to tears man

I was in a similar situation as a teenager and was groomed for 7 years before he flew across the country and I was also terrified of my parents, more than people who were dangerous for me. It kept me in toxic relationships and living in dangerous situations as long as I was away from them. They were incredibly strict and screamed at me about everything.

There was a time, When my dad used to Look normally at my eys and then Look to somewhere Else than my eyes. It didn't Last long and he didn't do anything Else, but it gave me some kind of a trauma. I'm now More scared of unknown adults around me. No one knows about this. And i don't know is it so "big deal" to anyone because he just looked at me.

My brother was raped when he was 7. He didn’t tell me and my family until he turned 13 and it breaks my heart that I never knew. I’m his older sister and I wish there more I could do for him but he’s now in therapy and healing. He waited too long to tell us so the piece of shit predator will never pay for his crimes. Guys please. If anything (god forbid) happens to you, please tell your loved ones because we will always be on your side and we don’t blame you. You’re not stupid because you are a literal child and nothing that an adult does to you is your fault. Please take care because people love you and will protect you.

Thankfully our insurance covers everything so we don't have to go broke to get him the help he needs. Especially, since we're a low income family. I just wanted to share my brother's story to show that help is always available and that seeking help is important. It's better to do it later than never and to preferably seek it asap. There's many resources available for people with all sorts of circumstances. Whether you're a minor who wants to seek help without your parents knowing or if you don't believe you can afford it. There's help out there and it takes a lot of courage to seek it out. I just want people to know there is hope.

Regardless of age, in situations where children become victimized by adults, it is not on the responsibility of the child to have protected themselves from the adult. Abuse is a choice. Being a victim is not, regardless of what situation the victim is in. Being lured into someone’s house or letting someone into your own is not consent to sex. If you have sex with someone who cannot consent to sex (whether it be a child, someone who is drunk or under the influence, or someone with a disability), you are a rapist and therefore you are responsible for any trauma the victim may experience. Someone who is groomed, or taken advantage of, is not at fault or in anyway culpable of something someone else does to them. Furthermore, victim blaming never adds anything to the conversation of how to help survivors heal. I understand some of you aren’t adults yet and can’t yet process that you are not as capable, intelligent and organized yet. I’m not saying you aren’t entitled to an opinion, but what I am saying is when an adult is in a situation where they are responsible for someone else, they’re able to take advantage of it, especially if they are a predator. It’s super easy to think you can’t be victimized when you’re young because whether teenagers want to admit it or not for the most part they believe they are indestructible or can do anything. It’s easy to act holier-than-thou and say what you would have done in that situation, but comparing yourself to a victim to demean them as I’ve seen lots of people do is never okay and never adds anything to the conversation.

I just started watching these videos today, and I’ve watched quite a few already. This one, however, literally made me cry. I felt for that girl and for fat cat Mario. I have children of my own and my biggest fear is that they may end up suffering in silence by being a victim or being targeted. They’re still so innocent and wonderful little humans and I just can’t imagine them having to live with fear, anger and frustration without reaching out to me or my wife. I’m sorry for anyone who has ever been victimized and traumatized by shitty and fucked up people and situations. Someone is there for you who really care and will understand and listen to you. Edit (7 months later): This is still getting responses so I just wanted to add that someone experiencing this usually really does _want_ to say whatever it is that's causing the anxiety, it can just feel like an insurmountable obstacle to get it out of their throat.

As someone who literally told my parents about being sexually assaulted, hearing these people’s stories is super inspiring. I really hope Emma ends up finding a professional to talk to. Sexual trauma is a lot to deal with, nobody should have to carry the burden of those memories on their own.
