      @ElectricSuperCar i woud like to mention few things
      1. Wind screen wiper wont work om VW group cars unless hood/frunk ia not closed properly in your case try to close the latch manually like you did it with trunk latch.
      2. I will highly recommend getting your hands on VCDS or OBD11. For VW Groups car having one of these is must this will not only help you to intract with car electric system and diagnos alot of things e.g in case of trunk latch if you have vcds connect it can literally tell you that trunk latch is not getting power. Also in future when you will work on comfort features it will also come handy and upon all this it will also allow you to set further comfort features that are disable for the company exmaple set all windows closing with rain senor and much more
      Hope you get a new job soon

      Also since there are electric cars by VW Group try to sreach for ecus of these model may be you will able to integrate these with your electric system again having VCDS or obd11 will help alot in this

    Door closed, brake pedal depressed, no fault codes relating to the parking brake mechanism, you could also try a press and hold, failing that on the calipers where the motors are there will be a cover hiding an Allen bolt which you can manually wind out to release the parking brake manually, just remember to wind it back on when your finished with the build

    Great idea to offload all those parts. Will give you more space to think. One question though, aren’t you gonna need the side skirts and the pumper even though it’s converted to electric? Also, isn’t 3900 a bit cheap, I get the feeling of getting rid of it is a great relief but just feels like a Porsche engine and gearbox alone should be at a much higher price point. Would be really interesting to get more details on the train of thought behind the decision.
    Great content and really appreciate the openness!

    • @aiwoor
      @aiwoor 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      yeah, that new of a porche engine and trans would cost way more then 3.9k that seems way to low of a price. but he needed to get rid of them fast, so you take what you can.

    So glad to see the support. I have some more unsolicited channel advice: I know you probably don't want to spent a lot on the channel at the moment but I think improving audio a bit and having fewer handheld shots facing you would increase production quality a lot. The garage is way too live (echoey), I think you might need about 5-10x as much wall treatment, especially around the areas you film in. Hanging a big heavy blanket from the ceiling (out of frame) might do a lot for a small amount of money, depending on what type of ceiling you have (flat = more necessary to be treated). Recording audio for ads in the echoey garage is not ideal. Sometimes your voice is too soft on the mic when you are speaking (eg at times when your were running through the list of stuff that was working/not working on the Porsche) which gives the impression of mumbling. This is an editing issue, you need to boost the audio if your voice gets too low. Sometimes it's harder to pick these issues up if you edit on headphones because it sounds fine to you but wouldn't sound right on a TV. Finally there was some wind noise at times, would recommend picking up a cheap windscreen or "deadcat" as we call them.
    Good luck with the build and with life stuff! I selfishly would love to see you go full time on TH-cam/Patreon but I totally understand if the numbers aren't working (I also think it's cool that you have been so transparent about that aspect). So if not, I hope you find a great job you like as much or more than your last one.

    I've your Patreon - having an option of pay per-video is a good idea there. That way folks can see a clear value for money and it can wind up being more lucrative if you're consistently producing videos. I think having a pay what you want option (I assume you can set a minimum so it's not all eaten by fees) would be good for people who want to go for a higher level of consistent support as well.

    If the brake pedal is electronic it probably has a built in position sensor which controls how much pressure is being applied. If that’s the case you will more than likely need the pedal hooked up to release the parking brake as it won’t sense any brake application without it.
