While it may be perceived to be okay to be single when you are young, mostly busy and can easily go to social clubs to fill the loneliness gap, the experience is different when one gets old. A lot of things that would interest you when young stop making sense. Imagine at 65 and in your 80s all alone with no one to chat with. 24/7 365 a year, you must be crazy if you don't go crazy. There is actually no better alternative to family/marriage life, it's a deception.
I’ve never been to China. But I’m sure that there are Chinese Men who would and want to get married. I think that many men in China are satisfied with being single. It because the Chinese women have way too high standards. And that’s how it is in America. What I have learned about Chinese culture, is that they have a deep family oriented culture. I don't get why all the stigma against parents wanting their kids to get into a relationship. the children want it too. Even the ones who profess they don't want a relationship, most are lying to themselves to spare themselves the heartache of admitting to themselves that they're lonely. This is a universal good pairing people up.
Why can't you just believe people? Their words AND their actions are saying a big fat "no!" to marriage. Accept the situation instead of saying that they are all liars.
