They wasted a ton of potential in my opinion. Could of added a broken bone mending system, content from the comics and don't even get me started on how they screwed up the nemesis early with a doggo form. Shouldnt of did that because it's like a rehash from re2 remake with G.
@@kirkfogg8366 Actually form fits......All tyrant classes have bio-inhibitor chips to stop them mutate further than their humanoid forms and restrain their tiny logical parts of brain, Nemesis took alot of beating and on the way machine parts holding his bio-inhibitors damaged, so he start to mutate further as he gets more and more damage, i actually found refrshing to see himn mutate by the book

I did not care for Carlos before and I dont miss him. Now I want Carlos to show up in future game. He's like a cross between the sarcastic RE4 Leon and the serious soldier-y Chris (and Keanu Reeves of course)
Solomon Guile wow why do you hate Carlos so much lol. I liked his character quite a bit. He isn’t a complex character but doesn’t have to be. He’s strong and has a mild charisma to him that bodes well with the MC (Jill). It’s fine to not like a character as much as others but “shitty” is a bit harsh
I’ve always liked Carlos I would have love for him to appear in any re game or movie for that matter ooo maybe him and sheva could do a movie/game together
I get Nemesis is supposed to have a mind of its own but it literally catches you several times in the playthrough and it resorts to TV induced superstrength. That is in order to avoid just outright killing you because that would be easy the person/thing with super strength will casually toss you. Even though grabbing you and popping you head like an egg would be the easiest thing in the world
Nemesis is supposed to collect data on itself and others that interact with it. Letting Jill damage and hurt it to the point of mutation is more valuable to Umbrella than outright killing all of the STARS members. It’s this reason why they’re able to creating stronger BOWS in later games.

@Fenix Fox in all honesty, the original seems more replayable than this one. A bunch of puzzles, choices that change how some scenes will play out, more variety to the places that you visit.
Well, the T-Virus did take down a whole town of 100,000 people within a week, all spreading from a couple rats that slurped up the broken vials. Granted, Jill seems to be the only one practicing social distancing with that dodge mechanic!

I really love Jill's outfit here, more appropriate for this kind of event. Carlos is as good as S.T.A.R.S members here! So cool! Anyway, I don't mind Jill isn't going to RPD but man I was waiting for the Clock Tower😢
Jill doesn’t always have to look behind her when Nemesis comes, it’s like girl you already know you don’t have to look back lol. That’s how she gets caught up all the time lol
I think what this game did, it did very well. The graphics, the mechanic, the scenario, the voice acting, Carlos now has a personality (and chemistry with jill, something that lacked in OG RE3), the final boss and how nemesis dies is much better than the original (just lacked the "you wish the stars, you got the stars" but Ok, a Railrun to the mouth is much cooler that 6 magnum bullets that he got much worse through the game). The problem is that it lacked a lot, I mean A LOT of content, it could 've been so, So much better if they include basic stuff the RE3 nemesis had in 99. But compared to RE 5 and RE 6 it is surely a masterpiece.
You do realize that if it wasn't for the movies the games would have died out right? After the original 2 came out the series was on a continuous decline with each new game selling worse than the last one. It wasn't until the games started taking elements from the movies that they started to actually sell well again. Paul WS Anderson basically saved Resident Evil and kept it relevant.
I glad capcom this time around make Brad more likable and less of a coward than his last counterpart, but the game still bug me about the zombie can climb fences when the cutscene demand it.

I understand that frustration but this is a remake, not a remastered version. They're trying to change the characters up a bit and personally I respect that
But they cut a lot of content like the the clock tower part for example and many more. I feel the game is rushed and just an excuse to sell that project resistance game.

Since they took out most of the original game, now imagine this: A DLC where you play Nicholai and walk thru his whole path into Raccoon City to eliminate and collect data?! That could be amazing, imagine they put on Nemesis meeting with G-Birkin in the sewers while searching for Jill, and Nicholai records the fight between the monsters or something like this. I say G-Birkin and not Mr. X because I think as much as Nemesis is smart as fuck, he would manage to avoid Mr. X in order to complete his mission, also maybe Mr X is smart enough to understand they’re both in the same side. Birkin in the other hand is completely irrational, fighting and killing everyone that gets into his path, and I feel that in the sewers is more of an “there is only this path to pass so I can move, so I need to fight him” Nemesis type of thinking. Plus numbers of other things could happen, it would be totally gold I think and it would restore a good piece of what was left behind, by giving new and awesome stuff. Just an idea that I wanted to share with you all :)
Wait, wait, wait ... how did Jill survive driving a car off the roof of a six storey building at 16:23 ? The elevator says 5 floors and a roof at 15:16 ... and without a seat belt, too.
So in this game we don't have: No serious puzzles No clocktower area No cemetary area No gas station area No news department area. No city major area. No dead factory area. No menacing zombie crows breaking through bus windows. No decent drops from Nemesis No life choices/alternate pathing to unlock new areas and cause different chains of events. No costumes. No grave digger boss. NO OPERATION MAD JACKAL MINIGAME No multiple endings What we have: A perfect dodge that kills all the dread. No survival horror feeling. Neat shiny sterile environments especially in the end. No strategy needed to beat enemies, even your basic zombie has become your basic bitch. No depth, replayability, immersion, expanding on the lore, creativity at surviving the city (like trap crafting or shooting strings and chains to drop heavy objects on enemies.) etc No meaningful secrets, secret areas and worthy of exploration areas. Nemmie doesn't get more pissed off and strategic with time. Nemmie becomes a dog/alien/licker hybrid with pointy chicken wings instead of that ever persistent humanoid tyrrant you just cant get rid off. ahhh 21 years and they screwed up my favorite game so hard... .

The corona virus pandemic wasn't caused by greed, it was China not wanting to destroy it's reputation by hiding the fact that a virus is spreading through their whole country, not telling any other nations to be careful or take any action against the spreading of the virus, it was all about keeping a good "reputation" of a country, but as you can see it completely failed, the virus spread to almost all countries in the world and now people are dying, over 80,000 have died from this virus, and it's only been 4 months since we found out about this virus, over a million people are infected, some in critical condition, people will keep dying and people will keep getting infected for the next few months, hopefully in about 4-6 months it'll be almost completely gone, but how many people would need to die before that happens? what a fucking disaster...

I think what this game did, it did very well. The graphics, the mechanic, the scenario, the voice acting, Carlos now has a personality (and chemistry with jill, something that lacked in OG RE3), the final boss and how nemesis dies is much better than the original (just lacked the "you wish the stars, you got the stars" but Ok, a Railrun to the mouth is much cooler that 6 magnum bullets that he got much worse through the game).
The problem is that it lacked a lot, I mean A LOT of content, it could 've been so, So much better if they include basic stuff the RE3 nemesis had in 99.
But compared to RE 5 and RE 6 it is surely a masterpiece.
The game was brilliant! Love your channel, man!
You made this entire playthrough almost enjoyable as watching an actual movie. It made the game seem more action than horror oriented.

Its a "Mine Round" you shoot it on any surface and any enemy that goes near it sets it off and it explodes. Very useful, a necessity in this fight.

You do realize that if it wasn't for the movies the games would have died out right? After the original 2 came out the series was on a continuous decline with each new game selling worse than the last one. It wasn't until the games started taking elements from the movies that they started to actually sell well again.
Paul WS Anderson basically saved Resident Evil and kept it relevant.
After this we should be getting a Survivor remake

I understand that frustration but this is a remake, not a remastered version. They're trying to change the characters up a bit and personally I respect that
But they cut a lot of content like the the clock tower part for example and many more. I feel the game is rushed and just an excuse to sell that project resistance game.

Since they took out most of the original game, now imagine this: A DLC where you play Nicholai and walk thru his whole path into Raccoon City to eliminate and collect data?! That could be amazing, imagine they put on Nemesis meeting with G-Birkin in the sewers while searching for Jill, and Nicholai records the fight between the monsters or something like this. I say G-Birkin and not Mr. X because I think as much as Nemesis is smart as fuck, he would manage to avoid Mr. X in order to complete his mission, also maybe Mr X is smart enough to understand they’re both in the same side. Birkin in the other hand is completely irrational, fighting and killing everyone that gets into his path, and I feel that in the sewers is more of an “there is only this path to pass so I can move, so I need to fight him” Nemesis type of thinking. Plus numbers of other things could happen, it would be totally gold I think and it would restore a good piece of what was left behind, by giving new and awesome stuff. Just an idea that I wanted to share with you all :)

No costumes.
No grave digger boss.
NO OPERATION MAD JACKAL MINIGAME
No multiple endings
What we have:
A perfect dodge that kills all the dread.
No survival horror feeling.
Neat shiny sterile environments especially in the end.
No strategy needed to beat enemies, even your basic zombie has become your basic bitch.
No depth, replayability, immersion, expanding on the lore, creativity at surviving the city (like trap crafting or shooting strings and chains to drop heavy objects on enemies.) etc
No meaningful secrets, secret areas and worthy of exploration areas.
Nemmie doesn't get more pissed off and strategic with time.
Nemmie becomes a dog/alien/licker hybrid with pointy chicken wings instead of that ever persistent humanoid tyrrant you just cant get rid off.
