@Reloaded Past I played RE7 VR and it scared the fuck out of me. Never gonna play any RE myself ever again 😂 but since these are remakes from childhood, it's just curiosity here wanting to know how much they changed. Not exactly money issue, more of a too-pussy-to-play-because-of-previous-game-trauma

Money wise I simply don't have the budget. I'm lucky to buy 2-3 games a year meaning I can't afford every AAA title that comes along.
Time wise I work full time, go to school part time, married, and have 2 kids (one is 4months old). I don't have time to play that many games. For example I got Pokemon Shield for Christmas and just finished the main story (so no post game stuff yet) about 3 weeks ago. I also got Breath of the Wild and haven't even started it yet.
Also playthroughs let me at least see games I don't own the console for (like Gears on Xbox).
And finally when it comes horror games like RE I really can't play horror games (yes call me a chump but I can't make it through those games the tension and suspense are just too much for me).
You're right its a whole different experience when you play the game yourself. It's just that there are circumstances beyond my control that keep me from being able to play everything I want to play.

I really dig how they’re trying to make every RE installment from now on feel cohesively linked down to having a door being blocked by debris in one game and having a cutscene explain how debris cover that door in the next...so fucking cool!

Imagine having those huge arthropods crawling around in your stomach and having to vomit them out multiple times within the span of ten minutes. That might be the grossest thing in the _Resident Evil_ universe.
Coming back to this game a few years later, Oh how Carlos left us in a sad cruel carlos-less world after this game. Lets hope we see more of this man soon

I also think it's weird how Jill's strap holsters and all that gear came out of nowhere after grabbing that dead cop's handgun. This game was rushed. Very rushed.

i thought they were social engineers and oligarchs .
Thing I like the most about mk is that's he's QUICK,CLEAN ,and gets to the POINT in his style of play that pleases the subs.
He could cut back on his going back and forth through his storage though. His playthrough maybe could have saved around 10+ minutes if he was more efficient in managing his inventory.

@@aplcrz definitely agreed, also too much map checking and running mini circles because he cant pick a path. Also shouldve used the magnum more. But all in all one of the best TH-cam playthroughs as always, it's easy to nitpick and complain when someones playstyle is different than yours, I'm not the one playing so I appreciate it still

iirc, the official timeline is:
1. RE3 happened first
2. when Jill was unconcious in the clocktower event, RE2 start
3. Halfway of RE2, Jill is cured
4. During the last half, both 2 & 3 happened almost simultaneously

With the amount of times Jill was thrown around like a rag-doll, I'm starting to think that her becoming a Sandwich is pure bullshit; she'd somehow break the crusher during the process.
Considering the raw power Nemesis would need to shatter the floor like that, and the fact that she took a direct kick from him and wasn't just split in half? Yeah, I'd say that crusher would have a Jill Sized dent in it.

I felt that the game was rushed and incomplete in some parts, like after the subway train crash and the rpd section, the game was hurried or something... (I liked the whole hospital though, it was longer and kinda tense in some parts)
You can even tell in the final section, there are weird animation cutscenes and things happens so fast until the ending.
I still like the game though, if it had one more year of developed it would have been better but overall it's a fun game. I'll give it a 7.5/10

the nemesis isnt scary as the original, not AT ALL, it moves too fast, gunning with jill is also too fast, you are pumped so much adrenalin it stops being scary completely.. who ever thinks this game is scary doesnt know what he's talking about..

Woah such an amazing walkthrough as a fan of RE3 this really means alot, especially to those people like me who don't have and can't afford to have a console to have these non commentary walkthrough as it gives you that sense of feeling that you're actually playing the game. Capcom did a great job in adding a new twist to a classic without going too far. I like the fact that they didn't kill Brad in a predictable way and aslo we are able to get to see the areas that were explored by Claire and Leon in RE2 though its expected that its blocked off. So good and more walkthroughs like this to come!
I liked the original though it was longer and made more details on the game’s walkthrough like how JV fought and killed Nemesis, and the more evident military involvement on the Raccoon City incident Delta Force was involved and the many Tyrants sent into the city.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for this video. I played the original Resident Evil 3 and it was part of mt childhood. I have no pc, so I don't know if I will ever be able to play the Remake. Watching this video made me feel as if I was playing the game myself, even more because you played just like I would: in a defensive way, not agressive. I mean, you didn't go out shooting every single enemy in a noob way and saved the best ammo for the stronger enemies. Again, thank you very much. ♥️😁

This game involve much more shooting than RE2, it was the same in the orginal version of these games.
yes RE3 takes place in the city with wider area to cover compared to RE 2 which happen in a restricted areas.
Plus this was the first armed response which means tons of ammunition and supplies were bought however by the the time re2 takes place most of that ammo would have been used up by soldiers or other cops or survivors

Maybe if it had Mercenaries and free dlc. From what i heard, the multiplayer is shit too idk, seems like a downgrade from the last game.
RE2 Remake wasn't much longer, it was just barely disguised as being longer thanks to having 2 characters, but the differences between then were minimal outside of what weapons they got, what 10-minute long mini-area they got to play through, what secondary character you got a 10-minute play session with, and their final boss. Puzzles were all the same, the major areas were all the same (RPD, Sewers and NEST), enemies were all the same. Sure, you had the B "scenarios" but outside of changing the order of how you went through the RPD, getting a new handgun, Mr. X showing earlier, and getting the complete ending, you were playing the exact same game, as once you got to the first Birkin battle everything was the exact same.
Yeah i'm a huge fan of RE but cancelled my pre-order until it drops in sale. 5 hr campaign is simply unacceptable for a $60 day-1, that is borderline DLC territory. Spiderman and Witcher 3 DLC's were 10+ hours alone. It's been 20 years of technology since the original, sprawl out the locations and extend the story.
I'm in the same boat, I was ok with remake 2, but seeing this I can wait till next year if I have to, for basically dlc at this point.

You know, the thumbnail for this video looks really slick. I actually think that simple, striking image of a concerned Jill looking at what we can only assume is the Nemesis with the title displayed behind her in stark lettering looks way better than the official game cover. It quite reminds me of the poster for the film Upgrade (which has quickly become one of my favourite movies)

I have to ask. Did you have audio while playing this? On more times than I could count, you didn't react to sounds around. You were always surprised by whatever it was on your left or right. You could clearly hear whatever was coming, yet it always startled you.
Wow, in just the beginning they put real life events to start out the story and it looks amazing. I got goosebumps no more talking, only watching 😉

his dodges sometime in the first two hours were almost non-existent, and it was frustrating to witness. next two, he was doing alright. last few encounters with nemesis, dodge god. wth hahaha

Dont get me wrong, the game os great... But, no "option 1 or 2" events. No clock Tower. No special handgun and shotgun ammos. No Garden/park map (with the giant worm). Almost no nemesis drops... There are some cool aditions, but i believe they misses out on so many cool stuff from the original.
No cemetary, no garage
no going back to see dario dead in his truck, final battle nemesis look like out of an Alien world.. and the final form just SUCKS its too much like a deadspace boss or again an alien queen boss fight .. whole nemesis just sucks!

And yeah... Some changes were cool but that original iconic parts have been removed, that suck. The clock tower was one of my favorite.
And Nemesis, at one point, he wasn't scary anymore. There wasn't the tension of running for your life like in the OG. A shame...
Very very cheap and lazy developed. Linear railway scripted sequences and cringy shitty written segments in this remake. GARBAGE!! i coulda made this game much better than those clueless stupid morons at Crapcom

Thanks for uploading. Your content is always top notch! RE3 is already not as scary as the last 2 because of all the "alive" people you see from the start. In this remake it takes on more action-like gameplay and slowly leaves the horror genre behind. But this is quite stunning to look at.

At 12:22 I was hooked. The most epic opening of any Resident Evil game today. I own the original of this and they topped themselves by far. Well done Capcom.

Resident evil 3 was panned for making the protagonist sound corny and the gameplay very short.
I personally enjoyed it regardless.
@@andrew-rn9uiEach character was completely changed (Jill having a sailor mouth and Brad being heroic for some reason) and the fact they completely nerfed Nemesis to the point he's just an obstacle and not an actual ongoing threat that stalks you throughout the game. I'm pretty sure some cutscenes are missing and the fact Nemesis form's do not make any sense at all they made a bunch of changes that weren't needed and yeah.
Resident Evil 3 Remake is 10 Times better than everything in this pseudo Resident Evil Game named Village. I Love this Remake and Resident Evil 2 and 4. Remakes a Lot great updating of the Originals without breaking the existing Lore, Events and the B.O.W.s Look better than ever. The did an outstanding great Work with the Remakes. 😊
no one is talking about how Jill just picked up a giant rail gun that probably was 60 pounds if it wasn't made out of paper and when she shot it the ground broke she would have been crushed by the force
Gotta say they did a good job on Jill, but Im always gunna have a place in my heart for remake 1 Jill. She was my first crush.
