@@Jdcoffeepodcast this adapter is awful. at best and I mean at best it may in some instances smooth out a jaggy and at the cost of adding **some** blur to mask it. I was a beta tester on this unit and I still have my pre release model and the retail model. the best use case for this for some odd reason is when its attached to the turbo grafx 16 mini.
Your video literally proves this does not work. A better video would've been something like. "Product X claims to upgrade Switch visuals...but does it really?". Also this product has been covered extensively. We know it doesn't work.
Really good creation, JD Coffee. I tapped the thumbs up marker on your video. Persist in the high-quality work. Looking forward see more creations from you.
Their marketing claims and calling this a "graphics card upgrade" are at best misinformed, and maliciously misleading at worst. This has zero part in the rendering pipeline, it is just a external upscaler. Worse yet this doesn't even output 2160p from Switch, it can only output up to 1440p60 from Switch _and only when your display accepts 1440p signal_ (usually only in PC mode, if any, or a native 1440p monitor), otherwise it keeps it at 1080p60 and just -spreads vaseline- adds poor quality post processing AA on the picture. Only does 2160p with a
Only thing I didn't like about switch were how the dock lacked some active airflow to help it cool Got a backplate for the dock that has a fan in it, put that in and and it's been running better than ever I know the console can run hot and thats ok but ever since x360, I am taking no chances
Yeah, I was hoping for something more like an external gpu for the switch, so the frame rates and performance are the same. The image quality is useable already, but the performance on some games is awful.
@@Jdcoffeepodcast not everything is perfect. Plus paired with the long development of some devices I’m sure this is par for the course. Here’s to hoping we get some switch 2 news soon #fingerscrossed
I have a Switch, a Wii U and a GameCube going through an HDMI switch, through the mClassic and to a 1440p gaming monitor on my desk. This is where the device shines. Everything is great. It does work on my 4K TV for my HDMI modded OG XBOX, GameCube and Wii U but there is some issue with using my HDMI Wii, mClassic and my 4K Samsung. The image will blank out sometimes once every minute to sometimes not being able to make it over 5 seconds. Both the HDMI mod in the GameCube and Wii are both GCVideo based and I've matched the settings. Any non-4k TV or monitor has had no issues and really makes the Wii look great. The retro mode switch workes great for 4:3 Wii games and GC games in 4:3. I will have to try again after you hearing that you had to use PC mode on the TV. I used Game.
upgrade must mean different things to different people lol
@@DestinyFomo how so?

I don't think its malicious but thanks for all the info. Lots to learn here.
I love the kitchen knife analogy, you explained anti-aliasing very well!
@@Gamer-vs3xl I’m glad. Not going to lie, so do I. Proud of that one.
M classic is nice but it's not a graphics card upgrade, that's just a spread of miss information
Not if you watch the video.
Man great video and option introduced that I didn’t know about thank you. Also your videos are killing it.

I feel like it smooths out stuff enough for me to see a difference now that I use an OLED tv
Micro-usb and Micro-jagged edges……hmmmmm. Seems like a conspiracy to me. lol. Thanks for bringing this product to light my guy!!!
This product is older so it makes sense. I would love a refresh

I really like this thing.
I came down here to see all of the comments saying "just get a Steam Deck", but there aren't any, so let me be the first.
Just get a Steam Deck. :D
hahah I have one but still use the Switch more. better franchises for me
I have the 4K Gamer Pro upscaler, and I think it does a better job than the M-Classic.
I didn't love that one
I use this for my retro consoles and it’s great! Haven’t needed it for my switch yet
I love it
Nice visual aids!
