I have been having a hell of a time identifying what tissue is irritated in my deep hip rotators and the frame at 4:09 taught me a ton about what’s going on in there. Thank you so much for making these! What an incredible resource to learn about anatomy and joint actions.
there is counter movement through out the whole torso, i experimented with more degrees and it seemed to be to much almost cartoonish,.. but thank you a lot for your honest feedback Selina!
This was my thought exactly. I was also thinking about a little more pronation with loading phase in the foot/ankle. It seems like the LE has some femoral IR but the LLE is almost stuck in sagittal plane movement. @anatomylab , what do you think? Super cool layering as the clips go on though. Great job
This is amazing. I’ve been using videos like this to retrain my brain to walk correctly again, and this one is fantastic. Thanks for the great content!
One of my favorite channels. I'm not in medecine at all, I just work out. I'm really appreciate of the music and animation, it is quite entertaining and absolutely enjoyable. Good work
I feel like I go up on my toes more, meaning not extending up on to my toes, but rather bend through my toes more when I walk. Just an initial observation of not being able to match or mirror the example without feeling awkward in my movement.
That being the comment on this video about mirroring otherwise it is not meant to be a negative comment merely an observation. I am enjoying these videos so far. I started with the glute series, with the four videos provided. This is the fifth video from #AnatomyLab that I am watching. Still have more to go to finish this segment about the walking gait. Thank you for your time and interest and for your contributions to helping understand anatomy and the formality of how our bodies function.
hey thanks for you comment,.. you are good!.. I think it’s very good to watch an animation and think about what it would need to look more realistic. I makes you dive really deep in the movement and helps greatly to understand it,.. and you are right the skeleton kind a walks flatfeeted, I need to try to incorporate what you said in the next one,.. thanks again and have a good one!
remember the body does not differentiate between rhomboid minor and serratus, we do. i m not sure if you could say which muscles exactly causes the pain. also I think it is impossible to address just one of them with a treatment - what would that be?. you d always influence both structures,....second rib you can adjust, but I d argue that also will influence all surrounding muscles, fascia and nerves,.. and the disc I think there are tests and of course mris,.. but if you have a herniated disc the neighboring structures will be affected by this, be cause the muscle probably will be tight to protect the injured part from further damage,., hope this helps,..
Looks like the model might be missing the toe off phase in the walking cycle. Not much of a heel strike when the foot lands and the model doesnt shift much of its weight to the supporting limb.
thanks for your comment! there is spine movement, rotation for example-but you are right there is still a long way to walk with this animation,.. I will update and hopefully with time I can get it to being more realistic,..
it’s made with a free 3d software called blender,.. maybe you wanna look into it to find out this is something you want to dedicate your time to,.. have a good one
Excellent, thank you!@@AnatomyLab If I may trouble you further, do you buy your model and animate it, or do you model it yourself? If this is all covered in your videos, I will probably figure it out, or you could point me to relevant videos. Thanks so much for sharing this inspiring video!
We’ve already had to topic. It’s very interesting because I integrated the rotation and I played a lot of time with it every time I turned it up more it looked comical that’s why I have the rotation built in like I have in future updates. I surely will do it more and I’m curious what people say then but thanks for pointing it out.

This is the real deal
We humans in the raw
400 + muscles burning sugars lodged in big reservoir muscles!
Keep up the excellent work presentations
How about some contralateral motion/rotation in the pelvis and rib cage/hip and shoulder girdles

how to know difference in rhomboid minor pain, serratus posterior superior pain and second rib our t2 thoracic vertebrae hernia?

OMG this is so cool.... I love the gradual addition of the different muscle groups!!!

You are Good.
Outstanding.
Please what is the name of this software?
the name of the software is blender.. it’s completely free,.. give it a try
There's no movement on the thorax....
there’s an updated version, but Rotation seems still not be enough,..
It doesn't look very realistic to me. There is no spine movement???
thanks for your comment! there is spine movement, rotation for example-but you are right there is still a long way to walk with this animation,.. I will update and hopefully with time I can get it to being more realistic,..

Thank you for your time sharing, l love the light Jazz music ❤

no problem,.. i did most of the modeling myself,..
Impressive!@@AnatomyLabI've been practicing with Blender, hoping to do something like you, but there's a lot to learn.
@@HavenInTheWood oh yeah it s a journey! Have fun and stay with it,..
😢why music
you can mute the music,..
Wow 💚
