    During stance phace in the Flat foot you briefly mention the Gluteus muscles acting eccentrically, is this as an hip Extensor? or hip abductor ?

    Hi Sir, there is no motion of hamstring during or after midstance? I have knee hyperextension happening during walking. Please let me know which muscles weakness responsible for this ?

    in heel strike does the hamstring act eccentrically? on the video it says concentrically? Thanks

    • @elizabethwhitney5956
      @elizabethwhitney5956 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hip is eccentrically contracting with hamstrings and glute. max. Knee is eccentrically contracting with quads.

    How about gait cycle when you have restricted mobility & require aid like walking frame to walk? I'm also tend to feel backward. Stair is a no for me & getting up from a low chair is a struggle for me. Seriously I'm nvr an exerciser but wud love to do it, unfortunate my energy easily fluctuate. Walking alone is a struggle :-(

    Video is nice and easy to understand but it seems to be confusing between the extension and flexion of muscle.
