Well that's pretty stupid to say. Internal memory is fast. And apps use up a lot. And with iPhone I'm sure you can't connect a USB dongle to it directly or with an adapter, and even if you can, it's slow and cumbersome. More internal storage is crucial. 128gb is not 128gb USEABLE. The operating system eats into the ACTUAL space (which is less than advertised) and then you have all your apps. Then whatever is left you can use for photos and videos. And she's a content creator. A USB dongle is NOT the answer. She can afford it. It was the right move
