since you're upgrading from a much older model, the 14 was the way to go! if you plan to keep this phone just as long, you'll get another year of updates :)

@@a-okaye yeah they made me feel that way too but I've seen camera test videos and the 14 looks really amazing, idk why everyone's complaining. Im not an intense gamer so whatever chip they use means nothing to me and I probably wouldnt even notice. I could see if you alr have the 13 but alot of us are coming from +4 year old phones, so this is def an upgrade.The 14 is also lighter in weight than the pro. If you got pro AND wanted 256gb, that's another $200 + tax. Rather than allow ppl to reel you in with these extra features that u may never use or need, be confident in the choice u made, afterall something made u gravitate to the base model more than the pro right? 🤠 I actually cancelled my pro preorder and now I'm getting the 14 plus and I have zero regrets. Also, starlight 💫 is prettier than the silver on the pros (if u like light color phones like me)☺️.

I’m upgrading my 12 to a 14 (in starlight, too!) so I’m soooo excited to watch this ! My phone comes in tomorrow so I’m getting antsy 😂 I didn’t need all of the features on the Pro models and have loved my 12 so I think the 14 will be just as amazing of a phone 🙌🏽 thanks for sharing your unboxing 🎉

I feel like that the regular 14 should’ve been called the 13S because nothing much has changed besides the chip a little bit and the camera and new colors. Congrats on your new phone tho❤️

I’m still with the 11 I don’t think I need an update! I might upgrade when I get an actual stable job and then give my mom my 11! But other than that I just love watching these videos lol ❤

The 11 is literally such a good long term iPhone. It’s not super old, but now affordable because of the newer phones. It was definitely one of my favorites.

I upgraded from an iPhone 7 to an iPhone 12 mini! And I’m really happy with it. Maybe in a few years I’ll get the iPhone 14! This video was really satisfying though!

@@angelicag2006 honestly, that's completely up to you! I love my 14, but I also had my 8+ for 5 years so it was a huge and needed upgrade. I cant truthfully tell you how different the 14 is from the 12 because I've never used a 12. I love the dynamic island, but I also didn't care about the notch since I had never had a full screen. The camera is amazing though! But seriously, I feel you should upgrade because you either need to or you just want to, not just because consumerism is pushing you too. I needed to upgrade my phone this year anyways, so I just waited until the newest one was released to do it.

im currently using the 7 plus and considering whether to get the 14 or 13 c: leaning more towards 13 since it’s pretty similar, open to anyone sharing their thoughts or opinions!
iphone 14 is newer ofc but i personally feel like the 13 has more color options so it really depends on like if you want a cooler color idk
There are only minute differences between both. Id suggest to go for the 13 as it can save you some bucks.

i think the 13 pro max is already very nice and also very pricey but if you feel like you need a iphone 14 pro max then i would say go for it!
why would you upgrade from a 13 pro max to a 14? the only difference is the chip and the dynamic island.. also you have it less than a year so it doesn't make sense to upgrade
it'd only be questionable if you went from 13 to 14, because they're practically the same. But you didn't. You went from a super old 8 to the 14, which is great! I don't know why people are mad, it's only a $100 difference, and she was willing to pay that for the latest version. It's really not that big of a deal, it's clear she just wanted the latest version considering it's only slightly more expensive and she'd been using a phone from 2017.

You most likely don’t need convincing it’s the same chip (although one extra gpu core) same screen same body similar camera performance and the 14 has slightly worse battery life than the 13

for me, the biggest reason for the 14 over the 13 would be the crash detection! having a crash seems so terrifying to me so i’d be glad to have that.

Hey! I also have a Starlight iPhone 14. I upgraded from an iPhone SE 2nd Gen.
I have an android because that’s what the rest of my family uses, but recently it’s been lagging really bad, randomly turning off,deleting apps, photos, and the battery life is terrible and I’ve only had my new one for 2 years so I decided to just give in and get an iPhone. The problem is they are all so incredibly expensive and I just can’t buy something of that expense right now so I decided to get an older iPhone instead since those are a lot cheaper than newer ones. I’m getting a 7 for Christmas so I have a reason to get it, and so that my parents will let me. Im so happy for you! I love watching unboxing videos and this one was really nice. Love your widgets, wallpaper, and how you set up the Lock Screen! It looks very cute :)

I got a iPhone 14 2 days ago and let me tell you the battery lasts a long time it lasts 10 hours and it charges a litttle fast, I am in looooveeeeee I love the camera it’s the best phone I’ve ever gotten

Aw thank you! I did do them myself, but it’s super easy to do from home! Just search up “Beetles Nail Extension Nail Kit” and follow instructions on that then I put glitter gel polish on top! Super simple and you can do your own designs ❤️

i recently upgraded from my samsung s9+ that i have had for over 4 years and got the same one but in blue. It doesnt make sense for iphone 13 people to upgrade, but a major leap for people like us , congrats btw!🎉

I have a blue iPhone 13 I really love the blue iPhone 14 o wish I had the 14 blue. Starlight is my second favorite color. I like that color for a phone

I upgraded from a X to the 14, in the pretty pastel purple. Does that magnetic phone grip come with an item that turns your regular case into a magnetic case? I'm still trying to learn about all of these new accessories. I just have regular cases for mine but I'd like to get a magnetic charger.

I do have iPhone 14 in purple since Black Friday 2022. I just loved using it so much. It was a upgrade from using iPhone SE(2) in white. I still have that iPhone and iPhone 8 in silver grey. Those 2 iPhones almost looks the same in color. My sister has iPhone 14 Pro in black or midnight color. She has hers a little bit longer than mine. I just loved the size and the color of my iPhone 14.
I am also using a iphone SE (1) in pink from my parents, will b switching over to the 13 or 14 in November!

Starlight is better, the color fits with everything
black is nice but the starlight literally fits everything and imo looks cleaner but some clear cases might get yellow

Hey i think you should use apples official 20watt charger coz i have 13 Pro i was using charger from a another company the battery life will be do much affected its already at 98. I buyed my 13 pro about2 months ago
Oh I do use a regular charger! I only plan on using the anker for when I’m out and my phone dies! Haven’t had to use it fully yet :)
