The notch is definitely looking like a better thing than the dynamic island in gaming. That cutout is a lot more noticeable/distracting than the notch.
My brain honestly accepts the dynamic island over the notch. Something about having the image continue around the entire phone instead of being disconnected from the notch allows me to ignore the new design more and make it feel more natural

When u played codm, the “dynamic island” or pill notch was covering the kill feed in the left. I guess the only possible way of playing to see the kill feed is to rotate the phone. That’s kind of a bummer but not really a big deal
