    I'd like to see how the Bad Boy compares with your Honda when you test them in overgrown grass. Looking forward to seeing that video.

    Thank you for your video. Very helpful. I tell everyone how good they are but, its hard to let them know without getting it dirty. Thanks again.

    Gee whiz, I was all enthused about buying one of those until I heard how loud it is. Our Honda HRS is forty years old with original muffler and its much more quieter. Those controls sound so tinny and it doesnt look like it would last 4 years plus its almost 3 times heavier than my honda. I have never done a head gasket or anything electronic to it Bill

    I was misinformed by a dealer that the bad boy smaller walk behind mowers were discontinued.. obviously that's not the case.
    I'm eventually thinking about upgrading to a commercial grade..

    I just sold my YBravo 25 Gen 2 couple months ago. Had it a few years. At one point it slowed the self-propel and I took it to the dealer I bought it from who now no longer sells it. They told me 5 weeks and ended up being 5 months when I showed up in person about it. Counter guy tells worker to go look at it and all he did was adjust the govenor. Sonofabeach, seriously? Instead of fixing it properly? I knew right then an there this dealer was shitake. Never took it back again. Then few months later the self-propelled belt came off the track (but how??). So I took it apart enough (task of its own to get the chute frame off) to force the belt back on. Seemed to have slight self-propel issues after that, sometimes strong, sometimes extremely slow. Could never tell if the belt got stretched or not but wasn't about to put forth the effort again to get back to it to put a new one on. The next closest ybravo or bad boy dealer for me were both over an hour away each. So I decided to sell in lieu of getting an electric sometime in the near future. Still using my Honda HRR I think it is, probably 10+ years old. I learned quickly on the 2nd or 3rd mow with the YBravo that I had to manhandle it on the turns so it quit manhandling me. Not as much an issue on bigger property but I live in a cookie cutter HOA neighborhood with tiny yards and I'm turning at the end every 12 seconds. It is a tougher and heavier mower than the honda, that's for sure. The engine was always easy to pull and unit easy to push (like you said). Ramps or a helper is needed to get it on the truck due to weight. Additional info for those interested, it does not have left and right handles but I'm sure it could easily pull a velky if you want to use one on bigger properties and can finagle it to attach.

    I usually have to use the slower speed since my lawn is all on an incline.
    We're you using the slow speed at all in the video ? How slow is slow ....
    My Hondas were usually around 2 or just under 2 mph ...
    I definitely must have a locked in transmission, not a personal pace system .
    Thanks !

    I watched your other video on Honda👍👍👍👍YOU CAN COMPARE HONDA ENGINES WITH KAWASAKI ENGINE 😱😱😱😱THEY ARE THE BEST BUT EXPENSIVE

    I have a question for you and I'm asking because I really don't know the answer. I own the Honda hrn216 and in the manual is says not to tilt it more than 11 degrees on a slope. What about the Kawasaki engine on the bad boy can you mow slopes with it or are all two-strokes the same? Thanks.

    • @GwinnettLawns
      @GwinnettLawns  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Ok those mowers are 4 stroke not 2 stroke. I don't worry about the angle of slope as I have done some super steep hills with them all. I have no way to accurately measure the degrees and I think you may be over thinking this. Yes the more slope the more the chance of the oil inside the sump, moving away from the "splasher" but as long as you are not on the slope for a long time you should be ok. The Bad Boy has a pressure oiling system and the Honda just has a splasher oiling system.

    • @GwinnettLawns
      @GwinnettLawns  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There is a tube that you can put on that I showed in one of the videos that will discharge it to the side. It fits in right where the mulch plug goes.

    I’ll keep my Honda HRX…. The Versamow and speed controls up top where it’s easier to use are a lot better than this rig.

    I like the Bad Boy brand, but that being said the price is not justified. I also don't care for the Kawasaki engine. Honda engine is far superior. And for a commercial mower, what is up with cables on the handlebar? It should have been solid linkage rods.

    • @GwinnettLawns
      @GwinnettLawns  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Nothing wrong with cables this isn’t a Hydro mower. FYI, the Honda commercial mowers have cables also.

    It would be awesome if next time you actually show it cutting grass instead of shaving off like 1/8 of an inch

    • @GwinnettLawns
      @GwinnettLawns  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Oh, come on now I cut way more than an eighth of an inch. I didn’t know you came behind me and measured it. I cut it down to 2 inches man. I’m not cutting any lower my yard. It is what it is.
