That Samuro definitely earned his MVP title. He did a great job poking and delaying the enemy team, and getting some key kills at really important moments. I also felt really bad for Qira, that's not a fun match to have to play into for sure.
it's so deflating to lose a 30+ minute game, especially when you've been winning the whole time only to stagger deaths and blow it in the end. Glad that didn't happen for you Pally
This is why i stopped playing league of legends, 50+ minute games that are decided by whichever team has someone to throw first... Absolute nightmare of a game.
I think a good QOL improvement they could make for Zagara is that when taking the Nidus Network talent a Nidus automatically spawns in the fountain that can't be removed. Nothing big but would be nice.

One detail you missed on corrosive saliva is that is affects both of your summon types. Your roaches deal percent damage health as well. I did not see you mention this in the video.
'3 of us clumped for Azmo ball.' Pally, my guy, Azmo was still dead for 20ish seconds. Don't forget to glance at those death timers!

Perhaps the greatest part of the nidus network is the fact that entering a worm is nearly the same as returning the base regarding health and mana regeneration. You can dip out, hop into a worm, regen and hop back into the fray.
IDK why the baneling slow talent isn't picked more. Toss a baneling at an approaching enemy to dismount and slow them while you run away on creep. It adds so much more survivability.

A decent tip with Zagara is to pop out of your nydus at the spawn to insta-mount and hop back in before going where you want to go. Entering and exiting do not dismount but casting a nydus, even from within the nydus, does dismount.
That samuro added so much pressure. With the proper capitalization on taking camps it made it very difficult for the enemy team to figure out a game plan for victory. The most well placed spots for camps are on the opposite side of the team using nidus to make it so they keep having to send people over to deal with them.
You've got to be dropping creep more regularly. Not only is it more vision as you state plus the movement speed it definitely would've saved you from more than one of those deaths.
I find it hard because of long cooldown and the constantly having to replace them
Some fun changes to zagara could be banelings eventually deals DOT. Infestation drop could level to start dropping with a hydralisk, or more minions.
I'm 71-13-1 now following your builds. I was on the same map as this video with a similar comp and the result was similar albeit a shorter match. I really liked this build. I hadn't played Zagara in a long time but she's as enjoyable to play as ever and a good entry point to playing mages which I'm generally not very good at. It's a testament to how good this was that I actually won vs a chogall which I've always done terribly against.

My way of playing these builds is since I don't get to make decisions about my talents I give myself up to 3 games with the build depending on how experienced I am with the character. Kelthuzzad was gonna be a 3 gamer because I don't play him much. The first game I played one of my better Kel'thuzzad games but lost for reasons I don't remember. The second game I won but played terribly. I didn't complete my trait quest despite it being a fairly long game and was outdamaged by our Anduin. I couldn't call that a win with how badly I played despite actually winning and the game I played well I lost despite playing well. So all I can do at this point is call it a draw.

I don't know if you noticed, Pally, but your 16 talent also combos with your 1 and 4 talents, as well - Hunter-Killers AND Roachlings do percentage damage per attack with it
There used to be a trick with Zag in this map, you could poke the guardian mobs to pull them over, and put your summons down and snag the seed while the mini-war was going on. No clue if it still works

To be fair, you don't really pick that talent for the completion reward in most games, it's for the immediate benefit it provides.

The time between the ability cast and drop pod hit is so long that anyone can dodge it with plenty of time to spare. Also the impact damage starts at 140 which is pretty bad.
If this talent immediate benefit would delay showing the landing spot to the enemies (or wouldn't show it to them at all) I might consider it a viable option.
Until then Viscous Acid it is.
Bile Drop is 100% a trap talent. Viscous Acid pays so many dividends when you're doing proper Zag kiting things, or working with any of the Executioner-style talents in mid to late game.
To equalize the talent diversity without bringing her damage / etc out of line, just give creep tumors 50 armor. Ensures enough resources go to dealing with it that she can be more effective.

The reason for the pick rate is because it is targeted damage with sustain. Also, you can't block line of sight so it is very consistent.
The heroic buffs are situational, like any heroic...mostly.
they explained the disable-patch situation, they tought they could not deliver the patch in time so they disabled her until the patch, and then realized they could actually release the patch.

You need to be putting a cyst down behind your walls so when you are running back you can hit the backup creep to give you that defensive speed when needed.
I was wondering if placing creep tumours in brush could be used to counter dehaka and his brush-based stuff

My game as Zagara was a win, and lasted like half of your game. Our team was pretty oppressive with Xul, Imperius, Abathur, and Nazebo. Had blackheart bay, so I stayed at bottom til level 10.

I haven’t played hots in years, but zagara was my favorite character then. A little weird some of the changes that happend, but i might get back into it.👍
Its still a really good game, just dont expect friendly and perfect teammates all the time and you wont be dissapointed lol

@@meesert At this point, I've just turned allied chat off completely. My experience in the game immediately improved, when I didn't have to deal with people spewing vitriol in chat.

I think the mana issue is just balance, if she wouldnt have mana issues she would be OP with relative low cooldowns and insane pushing capability, also her nidus ult nullifies the problem
I had a similar game in ragnaros. I was the frontline/initiation/burst. Terrible matchmaking.

These Hydralisks leaving just after killing one giant was too much. I have no words for this and I wish I didn't see it...

A roach drop did it near the end too, the pod looked like it hit giants and the roaches were just standing on the other side of the wall and the the hydralisk went over to hang out with them

30+ minutes? pff :) The longest game I had was actually on this very map. But, these were times when garden terror was pilotable just like dragon knight. Also, there were 6 specialists in that game, a couple squishy assassins and a couple healers. Aba got above 500k siege there...

every time I try to play Nydus Network they always get found and killed almost immediately, I've pretty much given up on it.
Right? I always see him having these crazy split push games where he's in every lane all the time, then I go play, and I put mine somewhere totally safe/hidden, and it's gone 3 seconds later. I still use it on big maps, and put it in even more safe spots to get from top to bottom, or just to heal up...but I can never get those aggressive ones.

She is in need of a real rework not whatever lame attempt that gave her back in Zagpocalypse. Her talent tree is horrendous and she's virtually out shone by every other Macro Ranged Assassins. You want better PvP? Sylvanas. Better siege? Azmodan and Nazeebo. Her only saving grace is Corrosive Saliva at 16 and potentially global presence with Nydus.
Tbh I think this game shows how bad the roach quest talent is: a 30-minute game and Pally still didn't complete it. Is a 20% larger radius worth that talent? I'd argue no.
Erg. I hate the "talent diversity" argument. No. Some talents should be situational picks, useful for certain situations. And the rest can be playstyle modifiers. It doesn't need to be a near-even "diversity" of talents. Just because stealth reveal isn't picked in every game doesn't mean that it's right and proper to remove from a character that doesn't have any better source of it.
And even just within playstyle modifiers... some playstyles are not fun to the majority of people, regardless of their power. That doesn't make one or the other inherently more powerful than the other.
