@@MilkHeartTV Yes. You have to register and pay for the available domain. If you are on Nigeria, Right now Naira cards don't work. You can pay with a dollar card if you have one or just use a Nigerian domain registrar like Domainking. It's the same process....

5:02 I didn't see this option. In Google Console, under settings, I had the option "domain name provider - Associate a DNS record with Google" Then I saw instructions for my hosting provider and a start verification button. Once clicked, I was taken to the login page and a message indicated in this case my (mail settings) will have to be disable services or conflicting DNS records. There was a connect button then I was asked do you want to allow Google access to connect to my domain I selected allow. At the end, it says you are a verified owner. I have two websites to verify so I will wait 24-48 hours and see what happens. One thing I did notice that i updated. I have 2 domain names one is shorter that forwards to the main URL. Make sure in your GB profile if you are doing the same that the main URL is the one you put in your profile. I am still getting the message Google is processing your verification it can take up to 5 days.

@@RedPhon-h6n If you choose any option instead of post card, you don't get a pin sent to your location. Other options include Email, phone call, sms, video chat and instant verification with Google search console.

The verification methods you get is up to Google and it depends on your location and your type of business. For the video recording method, make sure you record in one straight recording and make sure you have your business office or location inside and out the shot. Record your office building and make sure you have your business sign, the street and any nearby businesses' sign board. If done right, I think it's one of the best verification methods. If it still doesn't work for you, then you have to contact their support and chat with them. They will ask you to provide some details, and once you do that, your business will be verified.

Yeah, sometimes Google ask verified profiles to verify again. It's likely because you changed some info about your business or they just need more information about your business. If you work from home, just make a video of your home office showing how you operate your business. Show your service area, your equipment or tools and also show them outside your home like a street signage or your home address. As long as the business and location information is consistent with the information you have on your profile, they will approved the second verification and you won't need to do that again.

On that support page, they will give you a chance to contact them via email and in there you should have some fields to fill. Send them a mail and fill all fields. If they need more proof, they will send you a mail and you can reply to that email with more photos and a video.

What I found was that their video recorder was freezing up. Their video app is a joke. Can I video tape it on my phone and email it in? It would be much more effective. I will wait 24 hrs and see if I can get verified on Google my business after that time period. I did contact support about 10 hrs ago and I still haven't heard. I prefer the post card option frankly, but they didn't give me that option. They have made it super hard to get verified, and they no longer have phone support. :(
