We had an issue where uploading kept failing (7 times in a row to be exact). I then discovered that I had location services turned off for google, maps, my chrome and safari browsers, etc. So make sure you have location services enabled at least for the process of shooting and uploading your video. As soon as I enabled location services the video was able to upload. Finally! :)

I have a virtual business address and typically meet clients in my area. It’s not allowing me to change the address. Only going straight to verify with video. What should I do?

What kind of business do you run? If you go to people's houses then you will be labelled as a service area business and shouldn't display an address on your listing

The reason that I want my address on my listing is because I heard when people searched locally I wouldn't show up for them. when my listing was verified without my address I found this to be true. I wouldn't pop up even with me looking up my exact name also every service based business in my area has a address listed even without a office building. Thank you!
@ unfortunately according to the guidelines you’re not supposed to display an address on your listing unless you have a brick and mortar location customers go to. I understand not everyone follow the rules but many who don’t end up having their listing suspended

try setting up your profile as a service area business. Simply hide your address and select a service area that makes sense, such as the city where your business is located. That should work!

You need permanent signage, something that is obviously been put in place not as a temporary measure. A work van is not a "staff area". Just use an "office space instead" if you have one

To qualify, you need to meet the following criteria: -Clearly display signage that represents your business. -Receive customers at the location during business hours. -Ensure your office is staffed by your own business personnel during business hours. For me it wasn't possible as to show my car with logos is in the parking underground , street signs okay but home office 7 floors up which makes it impossible to record everything < 5 minutes. With Google support they wanted a Siret number with exactly the same name, which I have a slightly different name at the same address.

The problem with the street address is the street sign is way up the street. I can never get a video within 5 minutes taking a video of the street sign then getting back to my house way down the street to film my service equipment.

There are many reasons why this may happen, length, file size, device...Check the full requirements here: support.google.com/business/answer/14271705 Even if you fulfill all requirements it may take several attempts. If it still fails reach out to google.

The idea is to prove to google your business exists. If you can't capture the address try showing nearby businesses, shops or landmarks
