One of my biggest issues with the X2 was the tire size and lack of winch factory even on the highest package level. Now, it finally has 27s and a winch with this package. The X2 would now be my personal choice for SXS for work and play with the xt-r package due to Yamahas proven reliability, and their cvt system is the best on the market in my opinion.
Can't blame them really, even the innovators s Can-am and polaris brands have sort of placed ATVs on the back burner.Hp pretty much plateaued in 2014 for atvs. They should be pushing the same hp as turbo sxs. Sport atvs should be pushing 60-70hp, but they aren't far off 2004 power levels. It is a darn shame. My siblings stock wheelbase 80 hp 10 mil banshee is a pussycat. So it isn't like modern atv chassis can't handle more power. Based on how my lightly modded 2008 yfz450 feels, I suspect a newer 50" wide yfz must feel downright boring.
These are sick, with just enough functional upgrades to give it legitimacy. I think an off-road touring company could really benefit from having their entire model line match up like this, and from-factory winches are always appreciated.
Just picked up one of these grizzly 700 atvs. Man its a fun atv to rude. Paint job is sick and performance is sicker. The bike loves the mud. In comparison to other machines in its class you get more for your money.
There are already two videos out that compare the YXZ to the Talon, YXZ comes out on top both times. The KRX looks very nice, but 1900 pounds is a problem. It would be nice to know about the engine in the KRX, is this a new ground-up built engine from Kawasaki or where did it come from?
Having a street bike(triumph) with an 800cc inline triple i could only imagine how fast and torquey the yxz is with a 1000cc inline triple. Yamahas own 900cc inline triple in their mt-09 makes around 115hp so the 1000cc must be at least 125hp. Also on yamahas website they sell a factory turbo kit for the yxz to bring it up to around 185-200hp. Its mindblowing.
The seats are the first thing to go everyone should do themselves a favor and get themselves a nice set of Simpson seats with at least a four point harness.
Arctic Cat Wildcat 1000 x side by side has had the radiator in the same location as the new yxz since it’s introduction in 2012. You said no other side by side company had done that. Just wanted to point out that’s old school tech from Arctic Cat.
weird, i have a white and blue 2019 ss se and my interior lights are white, yours seem to be yellow, i wonder if they did that to help match the color of the machine.

I don’t think it’s worth it. I have a 19 x2 r spec special edition. I paid 11,600 for it paid 450 for tires then 200 for the winch and plate. I just don’t see how it’s worth that much more money when you can build it for less. Other than the frame changes
Yamaha could've literally used ANY color other than that "bronze" on the yxz and it would look better. Good looking otherwise and seems like a decent deal for the upgrades. Yamaha really fails on the colors for the YXZ imo - One color available for each model is pretty lame, how hard would it be to offer at least black on all models ?
I thought it looked pretty bad too. That color might be fine on a hoopty in the hood but looks out of place on a SxS (unless its in the hood). The black beadlock ring on the xyz saves it a little but the whole combination looks cheap to me.
I have this Grizzly and it’s been awesome. Also got 1000 off which helped influence my decision. It goes anywhere anytime. What a beast. Very happy.
Yamaha hit it out of the park. Great looking machines. Thanks for sharing.

Yamaha makes nice looking, durable, and capable machines. Too bad they still refuse to put an 850 or 1000 in the Grizzly.

They should've offered full skid plate package on the XT-R like they did on the 2016 R-spec SE.
nice to see they relocated the rad finally on the 1000.
Absolutely love the YXZ!!!
I really like the look 👀 of the yxz in the front with the lights winch and front bumper

I think it’s sweet that they’re doing matching se to the line...are the covert green ones 2021? I’ve been seeing them in green/black not the bronze
Does the xtr yxz1000r come in the manual 1000r version or only the auto 1000ss I cant seem to find a clear answer
bhdunphy I live in Canada and I can’t find any model of the YXZ without the sport shift.
@@mikemartin6823 in the states the base 1000r and 1000r se have a sequentially shifted 5 speed manual transmission
Are the Wolverine X2 wheels the same size and off set front and rear. I don't believe so. It would be nice if they were

Great lookin rigs can't wait for that comparison video

2019 yxz radiator is in the back. I don't know if wild cat is. Although the engine is same

Not wild about Yamaha's styling but they are well built and quiet.
As a Canadian, you should know that the last letter of the alphabet is zed. :D
Lorne Clarke so it’s pronounced zedro (zero), zedbra (zebra), zedombie (zombie)? 😂

Adam Pearson I don’t see an issue with that pronunciation. 🤣
After owning a couple side by sides I could never go back to a quad.
Is this the same guy that does the Caveman insurance comercials?
Love the color...

Needs a factory turbo

The rims look like they were painted by a rattle can in some backyard in West Virginia.
West Virginians do pretty good paint work it would appear. Baked on enamel is pretty good for backyard work.

spyder000069 looks like someone stole it and changed it up with gold paint before they sell it on Craigslist. I agree it’s awful looking.
Mr M West Virginia was bad word play. I should of referenced the hood.
I thought it was Westen without a hat
No power upgrade
