    Is TCB Offroad meant “Taking Care of Busses Offroad “ ??? I like that because it was also the brand of the rocks and roll king of ours Elvis Presley !!! Just wandering if you have seen the movie “Elvis” in theater right now ??? You will not be disappointed !!! 👍👍👍

    Gotta say dam fine job man. Good machine, best in my opinion. Can't wait for Yamaha to release the 5 speed RMax 1000.
    The trails down there are alot of fun but way to easy man, you want real trails that some points winch up 10' vertical climbs you must head into the Northeast. Vermont and New Hampshire have some of the most difficult trails mixed from massive climbs, deep slick clay sticky heavy mud, rock beds, sands, clear trails to let her sing while slingin off a good amount of accumulated mud/weight.
    Tennessee is so beautiful, real America with real Americans. Cannot speak for out West, but out east here I personally have towed home older folk, young kids and have seen others helping out just the same, we are always there for each other and help keep each other from getting too fckd up/drugged up which leads to accidents one way or another.
    You can tell you're gaining huge experience as time goes man. If you're in slow technically difficult trails we all lift the rear slight and soften front end to keep those fronts steering and pulling while the rear stiffer keeps us stable, and while givin her some coal the rear squat is mitigated.
    Yamaha recommends front being abit higher as that's the best for higher speeds-whoops.
    You must love that machine as they're almost bulletproof, 2019 and newer I want with an Rmax with those massive wheel bearings, ball joints and excellent gear ratio now. My Arctic cat 1000 wheeler still runs so strong, but nowhere to safely strap our new born in, Yamaha Rmax4 1000 here we come

    • @tcboffroad3206
      @tcboffroad3206  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Appreciate it man. Had no idea RMAX coming out with geared transmission. lol. We have plenty of trails here with tall ledges that our rigs don’t have the ability to climb without winching we just don’t waist our time on that type of riding. lol.

      @@tcboffroad3206 I guess they have it in factory trials or whatever they call it, man I pray they finally come through for us and make it. I doubt it'll ever keep up with your machine but it'll be a nasty machine for us trail heads lol.
      I agree with you the trails systems in Tennessee/Kentucky really are awesome. Honestly though in the North East the trails are more exaggerated and more of everything. New York and Vermont has some of the most insane wheelin' we've even been lucky enough to crawl.
      There's a trail I believe called "oak turn" in Massachusetts some of the really big wheeling magazines tested and rated it as top shelf or 5 star however the ratings worked.
      Someday when me and the wife retire we both want to buy a piece of land in Tennessee truthfully so in short I really do love the land.
      Keep up the good work, and enjoy that sweet ass wheeling rig man 👍

      DUNE YXZ man I appreciate it but I think this vid could have been a lot better. I had brain freeze once or twice, camera persons knees locked up and she fell when getting a shot of my rear a arms so I had to edit the view of em a little short. I’ll look back at this video a year from now and I’m hoping I’ll get a laugh...lol

    What’s the highest ground clearance you can get on stock 29s?

    • @tcboffroad3206
      @tcboffroad3206  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Man not real sure on that just depends on how far you crank down your preload on the springs. I’m sure you know but the more you crank down your springs the less suspension you’ll have.

    Is the gear reduction the GYTR kit? All I can find stops at 2018. Good video.

    • @tcboffroad3206
      @tcboffroad3206  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you. Yes it is GYTR. I got mine a year ago and at that time there was a reduction kit for 16-18 and one for 19’s. I’m sure there still is. Check Yamaha Motorsports or contact ur dealer if you can’t find it.

    What was your top speed without the speed limit or before the gear reduction, and what is your top speed now? I really enjoyed this video very informative very well done great job.

    • @tcboffroad3206
      @tcboffroad3206  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Damiel Aman not sure what my top speed was before or after the reduction. lol. I’ve had it up to 55 after the reduction at around 8k rpms but that was also with 32” tires so I’m sure the speedometer was a little behind. Never had the chance to get on it before the reduction cause I went with lower gears early on.

    @TCB Offroad Just curious what kind of Suspension Settings you run on that thing as far as compression and rebound goes. Thanks

    • @tcboffroad3206
      @tcboffroad3206  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Tyler Wilson normally on front low compression 1 1/2 turns back from full stiff and on high compression 2 turns back from full. On front rebound 2 turns back from full stiff. Rear low compression 1 1/2 turns back from stiff and high 1 1/2 turns back from full stiff. I keep the rear rebound same as front. A few times I’ve went full soft on all if I knew I was about to hit something pretty hard just to save a little bounce but I don’t like to run like that a lot cause the machine squats to much.

    Did you have to drill out the winch mount to accommodate the 4500lb warn winch? And where did you find the dash mount for your accessories and switches? Thanks

    • @tcboffroad3206
      @tcboffroad3206  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes sir 4 holes had to be drilled to match the 4500 but the winch plate on the 2020 xt models have the 4 extra holes to accommodate the the 3000 so durability will be the same as the 2020 xt. The dash mount came with the speakers and that is a Yamaha item.

    • @tcboffroad3206
      @tcboffroad3206  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      HeyDude the whole cage was built out of .095 tubing just like the stock cage so I could keep my accessories. That’s explained in the video.

    • @HeyDude93gt
      @HeyDude93gt 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      TCB Offroad Just making sure it was all made by the fabrication company. I didn’t catch anything specific about intrusion bar but thanks for the reply

    • @tcboffroad3206
      @tcboffroad3206  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      HeyDude I gotcha bud. The intrusion bar and the extra bracing across the top is .120 tubing.

      @@tcboffroad3206 how close is the clearance between your tire and inside wheel well again floorboard when at full turn? I would love to run 32's but need to maintain a 5-2 offset to fit between as many trees as possible, you think they would still clear?

      What did you pay for your new front a-arms? How long did it take to install them?

    • @tcboffroad3206
      @tcboffroad3206  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Rodney Sessions best I can remember they were 2 to 300 bucks. Bought em about a year ago so kinda forgot. Installing em took a little over an hour but the guy that built my cage is who installed em and he’s a mechanic. I helped him with it and it wasn’t that difficult.
