No matter how good of a lawyer he is, he will never be considered for the post of a judge because of his hindu biased views. Here, the judge felt that JSD was elongating his stance, or perhaps, deviating from the topic, and a judge handles such lawyers day in and day out, JSD is not the best or the most competent lawyer, so he knows what he is doing. I am myself an advocate, the art of advocacy is purely arguments and how well you put your points in the mind of the judges and try to convince them in your favor...and not just throwing away the words from the mouth to let the judges nik pick from it...Even the most knowledgeable advocate would fail if he just argues without holding on with the judges...
I admire j sai for his knowledge and art of speaking but he should probably have to differentiate between giving speeches on the shows and submitting the arguments before the court...

Sir, the institution of marriage is undergoing great changes. Of the many needs that marriage satisfied exclusively, people find them elsewhere. Procreation and child rearing are no longer important. Couples look for compatibility between partners and not mere attraction. Women abuse that was rampant in the marriages of an earlier generation is no longer tolerated. Divorces, single parenthood is also becoming common. Increasingly children do not support their old parents for sacrificing their own careers. The individual whether a man or a woman is free to make his/her choice. The new model admits live-in relationships, children born out of wedlock and superficial ties with parents and close relatives. There is a need to understand marriage as a specie of relationship between an man and woman rather than the only socially acceptable form of relationship as was in the past. When the society has recognized the "gay" society then why deny them their relationship of their choice!

It's shame on the Court to legalize theis. Very much Ashamed that Court has gone insane, b. coz there should be some sense in legalising certain matter which is unavoidable. Very shame shame. Court has gone to dogs. I wonder r the judges r out of sense to get lessons from a lawyer. No arrogancy towards a intelligent lawyer instead judges have to be proud have such a wonderful lawyer, who is more knowledgeable than them.
