I don't own any rights for the song or any part of it.
The last tune from "In Utero" l had to make video for; the album is done, you can find all the songs in the "In Utero" playlist on the channel.
"Frances Farmer Will Have Her Revenge on Seattle" was written in early 1992. The earliest known recording is Kurt playing solo on acoustic guitar at home in Los Angeles. This version was released on "Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck".
Dave recalls hearing the song for the first time during a rehearsal in his basement that year and realizing that the band would soon be recording a new album. That basement is known as a Laundry Room studio; the studio was built by producer Barrett Jones who shared the house with Dave in Seattle. In April 1992 Nirvana had a session in the Laundry Room, it resulted in "Curmudgeon", "Oh, The Guilt" and "Return Of The Rat". But according to Dave, some new songs were rehearsed as well, "Frances Farmer Will Have Her Revenge On Seattle" and "Very Ape". According to Krist, the song was brought to the band "pretty intact," although the "lyrics were left for last".
In October 1992, three instrumental takes were recorded by Jack Endino at Word of Mouth (former Reciprocal) in Seattle.
The final album version of "Frances Farmer Will Have Her Revenge On Seattle" was recorded in February in Pachyderm Studio in Cannon Falls by Steve Albini.
Lyrics:
It's so relieving, to know that you're leaving,
as soon as you get paid
It's so relaxing, to hear that you're asking,
wherever you get your way
It's so soothing, to know that you'll sue me,
this is starting to sound the same
I miss the comfort in being sad (x3)
In her false witness, we hope you're still with us,
to see if they float or drown
Our favorite patient, a display of patience,
disease-covered Puget Sound
She'll come back as fire, to burn all the liars,
and leave a blanket of ash on the ground
I miss the comfort in being sad (x3)
It's so relieving, to know that you're leaving,
as soon as you get paid
It's so relaxing, to hear that you're asking,
wherever you get your way
It's so soothing, to know that you'll sue me,
this is starting to sound the same
I miss the comfort in being sad (x3) - เพลง

Hey what kind of tuning do you use for this ? half step down?
Hey. Yes, the entire album is recorded in half step down apart from "Heart-Shaped Box" and "All Apologies" which are both in drop C#.
@@BassCoversWithTabs Awesome, thank you. Btw I'm jealous of your gibby
It's not a Gibson, if that's what you mean. It's an Epiphone T-Bird IV. Still love it, though.

Hi! Do you still have the isolated bass audio from this video? If so, I was hoping I could use it to make a backing track. I appreciate it!
Yeah, I still have it. Uploaded for you to Google Drive, here you go:
