Best way to set up laser over long distances by yourself is as follows. 4 11/16" square electrical box with a black sharpie line centered with the 4 holes. When the green laser hits box you know you're close because it's very reflective. Once the line completely disappears (passes through holes and fades in sharpie) you know you're dead nuts. In my opinion the targets provided with lasers aren't very good.
Tridop is ok....but surprised hearing what you have to say about what you've heard with the magnets, we have not heard about that and we have used the demo laser multiple times for content and taken to job sites for customers to try and worked fine on corner bead. Magnets are super strong especially compared to other brands we sell

The commentator talks too fast. I stopped watching around half-way through because I couldn't keep up with what he was saying.
Change the playback speed to .75x or .5x.
the adjustment on the pivot point looks like a great feature. trying to just barely move the laser to get the mark 100 feet away is a pain!
You should compare it with the Hilti PM30.

Looks like the line is like 3/8ths of an inch wide and the line is right next to the laser. I doubt at 40 or 60 feet that line won't be huge
