Kenan was even funnier as a contestant! Game show sketches seem to work better when the host is somewhat bland and the contestants are the weird and funny ones.
James is doing a great job as game show host! Also, the "living across from each other during the pandemic and deciding to get married" line isn't being appreciated enough lol
This was a well written and composed sketch, dark and funny. Quinta is a great actress, she nailed it and was natural throughout. Throw the cue cards away, we have a professional on our hands.
YES ! Everyone on SNL comes off like a comedian pretending to act ( which is a vibe in itself) but I prefer the real acting direction that she brought to all skits.
Afroman made so many songs about their raid that I hope he puts all the songs into an album and make millions off of it. And the songs are hilarious, too.

This is low-key one of my favorite sketches of all time. It strikes such a dark and ominous cord in such a benignly violating way that you can help but 😮😂😬🤣.
COMPLETELY agree. (The fact that my sixties-something wife just fell---again---day before yesterday is why I came back to rewatch this sketch. The darkness is comforting, somehow.)
I thought it was about the statistics that show that men are much more likely to leave their wives if the wife gets cancer & the anecdotal evidence in which men leave women who need any amount of caretaking or aren't able to basically be free maids & nannies.
This is wild because there’s been so many viral posts on Twitter lately about how men will leave their wives when they get sick or terminally ill and there’s a ton of research to back it up as well. I wonder if that’s where the writers got their inspiration… I did not expect it to go there! 😂
LOL Won a vacation w 10000 steps.... soooo hilarious! And both couple were funny but Quinta was most hilarious and the things her husband was saying are OUT OF POCKET hands down funny XD
Michael Longfellow is always _so good,_ isn't he? They have one of the best cast of players right now! And Kenan is one of our best actors in America, period. When Lorne retires, I really hope he'll step up for the job. 😂 👍🏻 👍🏼 👍🏽 👍🏾
I lost it when they panned over to the parents. That was dark comedy at its finest lmao 😅
I don't get it
@@mewesquirrel6720 his biggest fear is ending up like the parents
@@minorperez5998😂
@@mewesquirrel6720 he'd been hinting at it the whole skit.

Kenan just having a grand ol' time NOT being the gameshow emcee for a change 🙃
He killed it, his parents almost killed me 😂

@@Dulcimerist Also helps our game show host is one of the whitest men ever, on top of being the juggernaut of SNL comedy
Love this man
Host. I've never once heard the likes of Trebeck and Sajak called a gameshow emcee.
James is doing a great job as game show host! Also, the "living across from each other during the pandemic and deciding to get married" line isn't being appreciated enough lol
yes great role for him, love Bob Dabuilda 😅
James is a great and versatile addition to the cast. I think they're setting him up to take over Mikey's role once Mikey retires from SNL.
@@OceanHedgehog Maybe. I could see him playing a lot of Mikey's roles if Mikey decides to focus on writing instead of acting.
He’s very under appreciated
Y'all might be too young, but he's doing a killer impression of Bob Eubanks, host of The Newlywed Game 1966 to 1988. 👏👏👏
Lmao such a weirdly dark sketch. I lost it when Devon and Ego popped up😂😂😂
Same! That put the sketch over the top for me, and I laughed really hard, too.
Yeah me too 😂
Now I see why that was Keenan's fear when I saw Devon spoon feeding Ego in the wheelchair..lol😅
So dark and SO wildly specific, and hilarious lol
weird? how the fuck is this weird?
When "The parents" were shown.... I lost it. 😂😂😂 as a caregiver.. this was too damn funny
Yes!
It took me a second to realize he ripped up the rock climbing certificate because he didn't want her to fall lol

Lmaooo it clicked for me and I died of laughter
LOL Ohhh I completely missed that one!!

But Wally would be out of a job!
This comment feels incredibly manufactured by a fake account made to promote SNL.
Actually though, I kind of forgot they do read cue cards during this episode

Bob Dabilda. Ahahahahah. STILL LAUGHING AT THAT.
Greatest character name in SNL history

The moment where he feeds her in the wheelchair- so horrible lmao I loved it
Yep I lost it at that part too

Keenan's is my favourite! Always!😂
Keenan ,and quinta are literally comedy goals love them.

He’s not a bad man. He’s just traumatized 😅
Devon and Ego popping up turned this from a funny and a little bit dark sketch into a hilarious and extremely dark sketch, loved it.
When it showed his dad feeding his mom pudding in her wheelchair…damn 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Hilarious and clever sketch! The unexpected warped twists got a lot of laughs from me.
The writing on SNL has been getting really good this season!
I agree 😂 love the odd twists and turns.
Thank you. The writing really has been on an uptick this season.
This was genius. Love the fact they didn't explain it. Intelligent comedy at its finest

Finally a sketch with a beginning, middle and end. Really funny
I lost it at 1:28 wow 😂
Same😂😂😂
The host’s name is “Bob the Builder” hilarious. Also reference to “Snakes” on a “Plane” the Easter eggs in this episode are great.
Quinta has the BEST facial expressions on TV 😂
It was jame's impression for me he is hilarious love him 😂.
3:28 was so unexpectedly dark, I love it
Quinta is so beautiful! I loved seeing her in this style. We are use to the mockumentary style but she showed her true art of acting last night 🥹🥹👯♀️
Quinta & Kenan need to be partners in another sketch whenever she hosts again.
i was wondering where ego was and i laughed so hard when i saw her
Lived across from each other during COVID was underrated
This was one of the funniest shows in a long time and Quinta's monolog knocked it out of the park too!
Looks like Lisa from Temecula had an accident with that steak knife 😂 😂
Kenan’s real laugh at 2:32 😅
Bob Dabilda!😂😂😂😂 Can he host it? Yes, he CAN!
Ummm. It took me reading your comment to understand. Now I feel dumb cause I didn't get it before. 🙄🙄

"getting on top"

This whole episode has been great, it's nice to see this new cast doing so well
I laughed so hard when they showed the husband's worst fear in the audience lmaoooooo
It wasn’t until SNL that I realized how much Sherri Shepherd & Quinta favor lol
Yes they actually do favor each other.
Good writing. Well done Quinta and Kenan.
Always up for a SNL game show parody. While I do miss Bill Hader's Vince Blight, it's good to see other cast members get to play the host.
Yes Bill Hader as Vince Blight in the "Who's On Top" game. Funny stuff....
the way the shot lingered a little too long on the tragic parents made it undeniably hilarious and dark
I was hoping the sister was going to be in the studio audience after that question

the audience slowly realizing why the parents were included is the funniest part
Awwww dang had me rolling at the parents also the mom answers … lol the remote couple was screaming divorce after thsi show
The dynamic! Every part had me 😂😂😂
After seeing Thomas's parents, I understand his fears.
