Kenan was even funnier as a contestant! Game show sketches seem to work better when the host is somewhat bland and the contestants are the weird and funny ones.

James is a great and versatile addition to the cast. I think they're setting him up to take over Mikey's role once Mikey retires from SNL.

This was a well written and composed sketch, dark and funny. Quinta is a great actress, she nailed it and was natural throughout. Throw the cue cards away, we have a professional on our hands.

YES ! Everyone on SNL comes off like a comedian pretending to act ( which is a vibe in itself) but I prefer the real acting direction that she brought to all skits.

@@jvgreendarmok I mean...didn't they? They showed him feeding her in her wheelchair. They couldn't have been any clearer at all. There was no possible way they could've shoehorned in any line that would make it any clearer.

Devon and Ego popping up turned this from a funny and a little bit dark sketch into a hilarious and extremely dark sketch, loved it.

So the incident with his parents was so traumatic that he'll do anything to make sure she doesn't get injured and have the same fate as his Dad 🤣🤣🤣
I thought it was about the statistics that show that men are much more likely to leave their wives if the wife gets cancer & the anecdotal evidence in which men leave women who need any amount of caretaking or aren't able to basically be free maids & nannies.

This is low-key one of my favorite sketches of all time. It strikes such a dark and ominous cord in such a benignly violating way that you can help but 😮😂😬🤣.
COMPLETELY agree. (The fact that my sixties-something wife just fell---again---day before yesterday is why I came back to rewatch this sketch. The darkness is comforting, somehow.)
The best thing about this is the facial expressions on both couples. It's amazing!
This is wild because there’s been so many viral posts on Twitter lately about how men will leave their wives when they get sick or terminally ill and there’s a ton of research to back it up as well. I wonder if that’s where the writers got their inspiration… I did not expect it to go there! 😂
