Always exciting to see new switches from Punkshoo, I’m definitely a huge fan of the cream sodas!! Agreed that it’d be nice to see Gateron lowering prices on their switches especially as great cheaper alternatives flood the market. Also just curious, any chance you’re planning to review the Sarrowkeys Bsun x Geon BCPs? just saw those pop up on Unikeys, and I’m very intrigued!

I read that the sound profile of these are supposedly similar to BCPs. How close in sound and typing feel would you say they are compared to the infamous BCPs?

Excellent review! Just wanted to point out these may be the second switch with an Ink stem, the first being the North Pole (as I'm not aware of any others haha) but definitely the first long pole Ink stem. These definitely seem more interesting overall though, the North Pole is very similar to the Aqua Kings :) I have the Keebhut Blue Bubblegum which is effectively a recolored Oil King, but instead of factory lube they also have polished molds. Haven't compared those two side by side, but just for fun I ran the Blue Bubblegum stock with no lube and...just kept them that way, as they were quite good surprisingly...but I imagine lubing would offer some further improvements. Maybe these use the same polished molds along with a few others like the X? Cheers

the ink black switches just have a unique sound that I like. there is something unique about them, especially the v1 inks that I have in one of my boards. the ink reds broken in sound awesome. New gateron inks sound bad now, especially the way that most people lube. you have to break them in them lube them VERY lightly for them not to sound like mud. and unfortunately I feel yours sound off.

I just went to place an order for these and minutes later the order was cancelled due to manufacturing defects and the switches are being recalled from all Vendors by Gateron. Big Sad
