At my local Asian grocery store, the garlic scapes are labeled as "nira flower" - the bunch I bought made exactly 1.5 cups! I also used ground turkey and this was amazing!

Definitely making this one, it looks delicious. Probably do green beans, but might fry them seperately with garlic and soy etc for extra flavour, as I can't get garlic scapes unfortunately. Way too lazy to do my own mince tho, so hoping turkey thigh mince will do the trick

I made this dish, it was very good! Thank you! I had to make a few substitutions, ground turkey for chicken, green onions for the garlic scapes, and I had to replace the oyster sauce (wife has a shellfish allergy) with a combination of hoisin, fish sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. I was eating it and I felt the dish was missing something. Then I remembered; hiya, I forgot to add the sesame oil, after I added the sesame oil, perfection!
This looks and sounds SSOOO delicious, I’m going to procure the ingredients soon and cook it. Yes, will sub mild chili pepper or red pepper as my heat tolerance has abated in my aged taste buds. But LOTS of garlic. 😋😋

Sure! You can cut it in half and cook only half of it. Keep the other half in the fridge and have it next day. No problem at all :)
