Great recipe, definitely going to try this. You can add some amazing flavor to your cabbage salsa by adding a squeeze of lime juice, a little white vinegar. Sometimes I'll even put a splash of the brine from any pickled jalapeno jar on hand. It adds a nice tang that will balance out the other flavors.

So I just made it for myself today after going back and forth. It's really good! It's definitely tastes different, but it feels great knowing I have a healthier alternative to one of my favourite dinners. I recommend putting lots of pepper and even some dry mustard. It's so delicious and filling. I'll definitely be making this again. Thanks so much Josh!
I can only hope that your first bill came with a deposit you have to make. The deposit I had to make for my various utilities was 2-4x the regular bill. It shocked the hell out of me when I got my first bill. They claim that after having the utilities on for a year they will credit you back your deposit over a couple of months. It is just to make sure that you don't bail on your bills during the first year (at least that's what they say.) Meal looked good first time I saw it and looks good again. Best of luck with the house.

So my wife and I just prepped this meal. Yours looks a lot better than ours did. The chicken came out bland. Ended up adding 2 tsp of taco seasoning to to mix, which helped a lot. Not sure about the rice. followed the directions to a T. Its a bit dry already and mostly tasted of paprika after adding the seasoning. The salsa was great, very fresh herb taste, with a very mild heat. Going to try it tomorrow to see how it does after being refrigerated. Honestly a bit scared the rice is gonna get very hard. Next day... Rice was pretty hard, but not too bad. over all this was pretty bland imho. main taste is cabbage with a light spice.
@@Code0866 we made it per the instructions. Just commenting on the results. gotta find a way to kick the flavor up a notch though, and keep the rice from drying out. would really improve things . Thinking straight pre mixed taco seasoning next time.

it’s because of the lean percentage maybe. 96% lean chicken is definitely gona taste bland!

If you don’t have little ramekins you can you aluminium foil folded into a cube.

For your water bill, try this hack: while ur waiting for the tap water to be hot, save the cool water in containers. And use to water plants !
